Miss Agnes Bushnell Becomes Bride of Fletcher Amidon KINDER, La. Marie Bushnell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. C'.

Bushnell of Kinder, became the bride of Fletcher. Leon Amidoa, son of Mrs. Stella Amidon of Lake Charles, 5n a ceremony solemnized Sunday afternoon in St. Philip Neri Catholic church in Kinder. The Rev.

Aurele Robiehaud, pastor, officiated at the exchange of vows. Nuptial music was played by Miss Dorothy Savant, organist. Reward A. Ryan gave his sister-in-law in marriage. She wore a dress of white tulle over satin with a lace bodice and jacket.

She also wore white gloves and a face veil, which was attached to a white lace hat. A prayer book topped The groom chose Tim Cronan of Kinder as best man and Wylie Richard of Elton and Beauford Smith of Kinder as ushers. A reception was held in the home of the bride's parents immediately following the ceremony. Roses and other seasonal flowers were used in decoration of the home and serving table. Members of the house party were Mrs.

David Heberl, Mrs. David Crockett, Mrs. D. G. Hollen- heck, Mrs.

C. N. Champayne and H. A. Ryan.

For a wedding trip to Galveston, Texas, the bride wore an aqua two piece dress with a black jacket and black patent accessories with white orchid corsage a white orchid was carried. The bride is a graduate of Kin- Miss Sylvia Ann Guillory of Kin- der High school. The groom is a der was maid of honor. She wore a white semi-formal dress of tulle over satin with a white satin hat and carried a harmonizing bouquet of seasonal flowers. Bridesmaids were Miss Una Belle Savant, Kinder, Miss Janie Crockett of Lake Charles.

Miss Savant wore a dress of pink tulle over satin and Miss wore blue tulle over satin. They both wore white satin hats and carried white carnations. Austin Fontenot of Kinder was candlelighter and Kenneth Paul Langley of Kinder was ring bear- ier. graduate of Lake Charles High school and is a veteran of the US Navy. They will make their home in Lake Charles.
