aweeka engagement there In he new play by Espy Williame The Dukes Jester He will be supported by a strong company of players headed by Mr and Mrs It Spencer The JDukes Jester was written especially for Mr Warde It is In our acts and deals with the life of a court Jester wise in his folly and foolish In his wisdom with the soul of a hero and a reckless nature which continually leads him Into predicaments for his wit to get him out of This character Cecco Is assumed by Mr Warde while the roles of Duke Galleazzo and Nlqa de Borgio are portrayed by Mr and Mrs Bpencer The scene of the play is laid in Milan at the close of the sixteenth century when romance and intrigue were at their height and the Hyesof men were devoted to adventure and amusement Thre are several strong situation and thes
