Mrs.

McCorriston was born in Clare, Ireland, October 14, 1843. She would have been E3 years old on her next birthday. Mrs. McCorriston came to Honolulu July 1, 1866. As a young girl she lived at Davenport, where she married Samuel IL Foster.

Her maiden name was Margaret Louise Gorman. She came to Honolulu with Mr. Foster who died here several years later. Three children by her first marriage survive Mrs. McCorrtston.

They are Mrs. John Lucas, -Mrs. L. M. Whitehour-e and Frank H.

Foster. Surviving Mrs. McCorriston by her second marriage are six children, Mrs. W. E.

Kerr, Miss Dove McCorriston, Mis Gertrude McCorriston, George McCorriston, Oscar McCorriston and Mrs. M. T. Prindiville. She also leaves 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
