By SUSAN LAUER Argus-Courier Staff The Petaluma-based Polly Klaas Foundation has joined the search for a Eureka girl who disappeared from the North Coast town five days before her 17th birthday last week. 25, was last seen at 2:45 p.m. walking to her volunteer job at Humboldt Child Care Council. 2 City panels to discuss sewer plant proposals Two city panels, which have been studying the new sewer plant proposals, will come together Monday to discuss negotiation issues as the city secures the least expensive way of constructing and operating a new wastewater treatment plant. The public is invited to a joint meeting of the City Council and the Citizen's Wastewater Advisory Committee Monday evening at the Petaluma Community Center at 320 N. McDowell Blvd.

Two private firms want to build and run the sewer facility for 30 years. The city will negotiate with both companies then make a comparison of a publicly built and operated plant to determine whether ratepayers will get a better deal with private or public operations. The City Council and advisory committee have discussed the wastewater issue at their respective meetings in the past, but the joint study session will allow members of die panels to exchange ideas and study the issue together at one time. No decisions will be made during the meeting. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.

Arrangements under the direction of PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY. An avid 49ers fan, he was the official photographer for the Argus-Courier when the team played at San Francisco's Kezar Stadium. Many of his photographs of the 49ers and the semi-pro Petaluma Leghorns football team were printed in the Argus-Courier over the years. He was also a talented musician, playing drums in many bands and orchestras in the North Bay area, including the Stan Goldman Dixieland Band and Guido Boccaleoni. He was a member of the St.

Vincent de Paul Church and the Italian Catholic Federation. Mr. Ricci was the husband of the late Angie Ricci, who preceded him in death in 1976. He is survived by cousins Jim Ricci and Joan Roche of Petaluma, Laura Pedrotti of Rodeo, Lucille Allen of Walnut Creek and Marcelline Fisher of Napa. He leaves behind numerous good friends, cousins in Italy, and nieces and nephews.

After his schooling, he worked for a time for the Bank of America, then served in the Army during World War II.
