The wiil st allion Cognac it seems is yielding t' Prof. Yapp's training, and learning of gentleness, line uay last week Prof. Tapp him to a light, buggy and drove the streets, and returning, unhitehe 1 la; buggy, drove the horse into the ring an i removed the harness, without any ii! behavior on the part of the animal. He is perfectly gentle and kind. Our re-jrter hits a standing invitation to ride behind the t-tallion, and perhaps ho may bpeak from actual exerienec as to the thoroughness of Prof.

Tupp's victory. He expects to keep the horse under his charge some months, or until there is no chance for a return to evil deeds. The success with Cognac has induced a number of horse owners to put refractory animals in Prof. Tapp's charge. He now has six very valuable ones in his ejuine university.

Rural I'ress. Mr. Wooden informs us that Prof. Tapp will be in Petaluma with Cognac, and give an exhibition, on Saturday, December 1st. The Professor is desirous of having the opportunity of subduing any other fractious horse that may be presented.

He will also organize a school for teaching his system of horse-training. Green Valley 9.2!J Korbel's 9.50 a. SUNDAY KXCLItsION. SUNDAY EXCURSION. San Francisco Produce Market.
