He was the husband of Anna (Yarem-chuk) Kostiw. A native of the Ukraine, he emigrated to this country 50 years ago and was a Northampton hotelman for 21 years prior to his retirement 12 years ago. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Greek Catholic Church of Northampton. Surviving, in addition to his widow, are a daughter, Anna, wife of Raymond Spangler Jr.
