Blose The services for Marion C. Blose, 72, of Slate-dale, will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at Hunsicker Fu Ida R. Mooney Ida R. (Maino) Mooney, 87, of Orefield, died Monday, August 29, 2011 at St.

Luke's Hospital -Allentown Campus. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Mooney. Born in Hazleton, October 6, 1923, Ida was the daughter of the late John and Celestina (Maranda) Maino. She was a member of St.

Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield. Survivors: Daughter, Roseann Ciliberti and her husband, Peter, of Orefield; grandchildren, Jennifer Ehrig and Peter Ciliberti IV; great grandchildren, Tait, Kelly, Mc-Kenna, Gianna and Lexy. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 1,2011 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield with the Rev.

They were married 68 years last November. Bom in Quaker-town, he was a son of the late Leidy S. and Ida (Cressman) Lewis. He graduated from Quaker-town High School in 1940 as Class President. He served with the US Navy during World War II in Hawaii.

Arlington worked as a trim sorting foreman at the former American Olean Tile Quakertown for 36 years before retiring in 1986. He was an active, member and former Sunday School teacher at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Quakertown. He was an active member and past officer of the Grundsow Lodge Past Master of A.M. 512, Quakertown; Quakertown Golden Age Club; North Penn Stamp Club and the Pennridge Quakertown Area Sports Hall of Fame. Survivors: Surviving with wife, daughters, Marianne Yeakel, husband Ken; Ellen Miron, husband Nicholas all of Quakertown; grandchildren, Janet Ebner (John), Jill Remick (Ken), Alex Miron, Eric Miron; greatgrandchildren, Amanda Matthew Remick, Grayson Rylan Ebner; brother, Leon of Quakertown.

Young-White Gloria V. (Daly) Young-White, 77, of Ore-field, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Renford White and James Young. Born in Ja maica, W.I., September 18, 1933, Gloria was the daughter of the late Brenton and Maudelme (Rose) Daly. She was employed as a clerical worker for an insurance company in New York City before retiring.

She was a Baptist. Survivors: Children, Andrea M.D. Young of California, Michael A. Young and his wife, Hazel, of Elmont, New York, Donna A. P.

Wilson and her husband, Michael, with whom she resided, Yasmin S.N. Baker of Georgia; brother, Vincent A. Daly of Jamaica, W.I.; eight grandchil dren; three great grand children; predeceased by a daughter, Judith A.E. Young, a grandson, Wal ter A. Wilson and a brother, Keith Daly.

Ruth was born on June 21, 1935 to Allen R. and Lucy L. (Spengler) Hess. She grew up on her parents farm in Schoeners-ville and was a lifelong member of Christ United Church of Christ in Schoenersville. Ruth loved the color pink and enjoyed collecting dolls and music boxes.

Survivors: She will be missed by her cousin, Diane wife of Tom Ward of New Tripoli, many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Ernest Hess. Services: Will be on Wednesday August 31, 2011 at 11 a.m. in Christ UCC 5050 Airport Rd. Allentown.

He was the husband of Dorothy (Deering) Hammond McNabb. They celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary in May. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Edwin J. and Frances (Jacoby) McNabb. After graduation from Allentown High School in 1948, he began working at Penn Allen Glass Allentown.

In 1979 Don acquired sole ownership of Penn Allen Glass Co. and Berks Lehigh Glass, serving as President and Chairman of the Board until his retirement in 1995. Active in the glass industry's professional associations, he served as Chairman of the National Glaziers Apprenticeship Fund from 1979 to 1987, Treasurer and Vice-President of the Flat Glass Marketing Association from 1988 to 1991, and on the Board of Directors of the National Glass Association from 1991 to 1993. He also served as the first President of the Glass Association of North America from 1994 to 1996. A 32nd Degree Mason, Mr.

McNabb was a member of Greenleaf Lodge 561, Allentown and a mem ber of the Elks Lodge 1291, Lakeland, FL He was an avid golfer and a former member of Impe rial Lakes Country Club, Mulberry, FL; Brookside Country Club; Moselem Springs Golf Club and Heidelberg Country Club. Please sign Guest Book on themorningcall.comobits Bruce M. Wert Bruce M. Wert, 72, of Williams formally of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at his residence after a short illness. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late William G. and Helen A.

(Bill-man) Wert. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife JoAnne (Derr) Wert. They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary in May. Bruce especially enjoyed spending time with his three grandsons, Forrest, William and Drummond. They liked fishing, swim ming, riding the waves in Wildwood, go-cart riding, throwing the football, and setting up the model trains for Christmas.

Bruce will greatly be missed by his daughter Jodi, wife of Peter Thompson of Williams Township, especially on Friday nights. He was predeceased in death by his son Gregory. Bruce graduated from Liberty High School and East Stroudsburg State College. He was employed by Western Electric in the engineering department and Shipley Company in international sales and marketing. Upon retiring from industry Bruce traveled to Japan were he taught science and math at Hokkaido International School.

Bruce enjoyed travel with his family, cooking, skiing and bird watching. He will be missed by his friends both here and abroad. Services: Services will be private. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Hellertown is. in charge of arrangements.

She previously had been married to Rev. William Arnold in 1948. She was a registered nurse capped at Harris-burg Hospital. She worked as an emergency room nurse at numerous hospitals in Connecticut and Pennsylvania and was Assistant Director of the Children's Cottage at Allentown State Hospi tal. She had also worked for the American Cancer Society in Bethlehem for several years.

Born in Paxton, PA, she was the daughter of Edgar and Ruth Latsha. Survivors: Husband; daughters, Shirley Ar nold and Kathryne Ar nold of St. Petersburg, FL; sons, William Arnold of Tampa, FL, and Timo thy Arnold of San Francisco, CA; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her step children include Lisa Schriner ot New Cumberland PA, Stephen and Kurt of Texas; and four step-grandchildren; brothers, Dean of Millersburg, PA and El- wood of Ocala, FL. She was the wife of the late Warren Bauder, who died in 1963 and the late Matthew Catalanotti, who died in 2004. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Fenste-maker) Voytko. Evelyn was employed at the former Western Electric and Lucent for 32 years before retiring. She belonged to the Bakery, Confectionery and Tobacco Workers International Union of Allentown and the Domino Club of Bethlehem. Survivors: A daughter, Evelyn Horning of Bethlehem; a son, James Bauder of Allentown; sisters, Mary Hanssen and Anna Applegate; grandchildren, Debra Stofko, Cindy Mantell, and James M.

Bauder; and six greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Charles, Joseph and Donald Voytko, and sisters, Grace Dozer and Helen Wal-lander. Services: Will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 1, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Holy Saviour Cemetery. Family and friends may call 10 to 11 a.m.
