PAGE SEVEN Real Estate Transactions NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS BRIEFS WINDSOR BEACON, WINDSOR, COLORADO 80550 THURSDAY, JUNE 5, 1969 Highlandlake Church Reunion To Be Held Friday, June 13 Historic Highlandlake church will hold its 48th annual reunion and dinner at the church, two miles northwest of Mead, Friday, June 13, according to Zola Coates of Johnstown, secretary. Festivities will begin at noon with a covered dish dinner. All planning to attend are asked to bring their own table service. A business meeting, memorial service, and program will follow the dinner. A social hour later will include dessert of cake and Connie Detterer To Graduate From Northeastern Jr.

College Connie Detterer will be among the 489 students graduating from Northeastern junior college tomorrow (Friday). The commencement exercises will be held at 8 p.m. in the Logan county stadium. Miss Detterer, who will receive an associate in arts degree in business, has been prominent in both scholarship and activities, and is one of 30 students named to "Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges." Last Tuesday luncheon guests of Mrs. John Weber were Mmes.

Ron Miller and Wilbur Miller. The Francis Osburns, with the Robert Besels, spent the Memorial day weekend fishing in the mountains near Gould. Sunday evening callers' at the Ken Peterson home were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Chipman and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haas, with the Charlie Bells, attended the horse show in Sterling Saturday. Mr. and Mrs.

Peter Stall were Sunday afternoon callers of Henry W. Erbes ill Greeley. Mr. Er-bes recently returned home from a three-week stay in the hospital following a heart attack. Jr.

High Methodist Youth Meet Sunday and Elect Officers The meeting of the Junior High Methodist Youth Fellowship was called to order June 1st at by Its president, Mike Metcalf. We elected new officers. The results are as follows: Lynette DeBrey, president; Charron Clouse, vice president Louise Walker, secretary-treasurer; Kathy Lutz, reporter; Sandy Lindblad and Peggy Reynolds, callers. We're going to have a swimming party June 8th from 6:00 to 8:30. The refreshment committee will be Sandy Lindblad and Debbie Weinmeister.

Sunday the Weinmeisters hosted a family dinner. Present were the Ware family, also a son and grandson, Werner Weinmeister and David of Johnstown. Memorial day, Mr. and Mrs. George Weber, accompanied by their daughter and son-in-law, the Larry Huwas, motored to Rangers lake for a day of fishing.

Stall attended the Harry Winter funeral in Fort Collins. Mrs. Amalia Stenzel plans to be in Boulder tomorrow to attend graduation exercises at CU. During the ceremonies her son-in-law, Dr. Karl Stahl, will be honored on his retirement as assistant dean of the college.

Dr. Stahl has been associated with the university for the past 22 years, serving as assitant dean for the past several years. Mr. and Mrs. George Buchanan accompanied their daughter and son-in-law, the Bill Halls of Golden, to Yuma for Memorial weekend.
