hardworking longshoreman and brooding over trouble he had had with hla wife Antone Martin von Kraimer laat night drank a quantity of poison at hla home at 10SJ Thirtieth street and early this morning died from Its effects at the Receiving Hospital This was the second recent attempt ha had made to end his life having drank a large quantity of a fluid which hla wife believed to be ammonia on the night prsvloua The dose waa ao big however that hla stomach refused to retain It and after a violent vomiting spell apparently was almoat aa well as ever He had been threaten ing to commit suicide for some time ana tne aeed was therefore not a sur prise to hla wife Von Krasmer father the celebrated General von Kraimer who one of the most prominent men In Austrian military life had Intended that his son should follow In his footsteps and be come a distinguished soldier and to that end sent him to an Austrian military academy shortly after his graduation however the father died and left the son a large sum of money The youth at once started out to enjoy his fortune and became a globe trotter living a fast and luxurious life until after Sie had made three trips around the world his money waa all gone and he waa compelled to seek work at what ever he could find Being untrained except In military tactics he was forced to accept the lot of common laborer becoming a stevedore He arrive I In San Francisco about three years ago with a small portion of his Inheritance left and married the woman who Is now his widow Mrs Annie Sophie von Kroimer Their life to gather has not been a happv one
