Bush to help raise funds for McCallum The Associated Press MILWAUKEE President Bush was expected to discuss health policies at the Medical College of Wisconsin and attend a fund-raising dinner for Gov. Scott McCallum during his visit to the state today. Campaign officials expect the appearance at Milwaukee's Pfister Hotel will raise about $1 million for McCallum's gubernatorial bid as about 750 people will pay $1,000 and up for a ticket.

More than 50 event organizers also will get a chance to have their picture taken with the president. Bush's visit is only the third GOP fund-raiser he has attended since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks; the first two were for sitting governors seeking re-election: his brother Jeb in Florida and George Pataki in New York. McCallum is the only announced Republican candidate for governor, and he faces four Democrats in November's election: Attorney General Jim Doyle, Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk, state Sen. Gary George and U.S.
