Phone 845-6900 Theodore F. Ryan Theodore F. Ryan, 87, formerly of 1617 Roosevelt Wausau, died Friday, Dec. 23, 1994, at a local nursing home. He was born July 4 4, 1907, in Boston, the son of the late Frank and Lulu Theodore F.

Ryan. He Ryan married Rachel Pfeiffer on Jan. 7, 1930. She preceded him in death on May 21, 1981. Ted and Rachel moved to Wausau from Milwaukee in 1945, when he became General Manager of Humphrey Chevrolet Inc.

He purchased the dealership from the Humphrey family in 1950 and it became known as Ryan Chevrolet. He was a longtime member of the Wausau Club, the Wausau Elks Club, and a lifetime member of the Wausau Country Club, serving three terms as President. Survivors include four children, Patricia (Edward) Clay, Columbus, Ohio, Richard (Gwen) Ryan, Houston, Texas, Kathleen (Edwin) Briggs, Wausau, and Michael (Patricia) Ryan, Huntsville, nine grandchildren, Kim Clay, Kelly Clay-Viscounte, Patrick, Keary, Christopher, and Lynda Ryan, Sandra and Sara Briggs, and Rachel Ryan; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Eileen DeMunter, Newark, N.J. He was preceded in death by two sisters. There will be a joint Memorial Service held for Theodore F.

and Rachel R. Ryan at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 1995, at Zion Lutheran Church, Sixth and Grant Wausau. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.

Tucek Eleanor B. Tucek, 77, 1001 Cloverland Lane, Wausau, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 1995, at the Wausau Hospital. She was born April 24, 1917, in Minneapolis, the daughter of the late Louis and Eleanor B. Hattie Tucek (Broetzmann) Davis.

She married Frank J. Tucek Sr. on August 29, 1936 in Mosinee. He survives. Eleanor had been employed for many years as a cook at the Wausau Country Club and the Wausau Club.

She assisted her husband during the 36 years he was treasurer for the town of Rib Mountain. She was a member of the St. Catherine Council at Holy Name Church, a member of the Rib Mountain Lioness and the Wausau Senior Citizens. She enjoyed sewing, visiting, dancing and other social events. Survivors beside her husband, Frank, include three daughters, Margaret Koebke, Beltsville, Carol (Glenn) Conover, Sterling, and Linda (Bill) Hellings, Norristown, two sons, Frank Jr.

(Mary) Tucek, and Don (Judy) Tucek, both of Wausau; eight grandchildren, John, Ann, Molly, Thomas, Robert, Thomas, Heide, and Carla; eight greatgrandchildren, Daniel, Nicole, Robert, Ashley, Katherine, Matthew, Amanda, and Eric; three sisters, Julie (John) Abt, Rose (Richard) Havlovick, both of Wausau, and Ruth (Robert) Rainsberger, Temperance, and one brother Louis (Iris) Davis, Tomahawk. She was preceded in death by one grandchild and one brother. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 1995 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau.

The Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Entombment will be in Holy Angels Mausoleum, Wausau. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to the Alzheimers Foundation. Verna I. Penn Verna I. Penn, 83, 1010 N. Fifth Wausau, died Wednesday, Jan.

11, 1995, at Wausau Hospital. She was born Aug. 23, 1911, in the town of Maine, the daughter late Ernest and Marie (Runke) Verna I. Ludtke. She Penn married Wilbert H.

Penn on July 25, 1936, in Bessemer, Mich. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1978. Verna enjoyed gardening and sewing. She belonged to the quilters of St. Stephen, the Guild, and Over 60's Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Dona (Brian) Kulas, Medford, and Faye (Donald) Blarek, Wausau; five grandchildren, Kevin, Kirby and Keith Kulas, Kurt Blarek, and Tami Ermeling; four great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Lorna Voeltzke, and Leora (Gordon) Marcott, both of Wausau, Berdine (Darrell) Kroll, Oshkosh, and Beverly Short, Scottsdale, Ariz. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 1995 a at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Wausau.

The Rev. John Swensen will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Alderson town of Weston, formally of Schofield, died Monday, Jan. 9, 1995, at the Kennedy Park Medical and Rehab Center, town of Weston. She was born June 2, 1905, in Wittenberg, the daughter of the late Joseph and Pearl (Gurin) Bieble. She married William Martin Achterberg on Oct. 4, 1924 in Schofield.

He preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 1977. Neta was a member of Peace, United Church of Christ, Schofield, also a former member of the Ladies Guild at the church. She enjoy being a member of the Schofield. Study Club.

Life memberships included, the Order of Eastern Star, Marathon Chapter 123 and the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Chapter 13, where she served as the Worthy High Priestess in 1937. Survivors include one daughter, Antje (Forrest) Braatz, Rothschild; one sister, Virginia (John) Jojade, Ocala, one granddaughter, Stephanie (Pastor James) Werner, Watertown; and two great-grandchildren, Heather and Matthew Werner. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Florence Kamke and Arletta Bishop, and one brother, Willard Bieble. Funeral Services will be 7 p.m. today, Jan.
