SCHOOL BOARD ADVISED BY LABOR COMMISSIONER. State Labor Commissioner Stafford called on the Board of Education yesterday and had a consultation with the members concerning the new ch'ld labor He suggested that in view of the short State appropriation for sehools, based on average daily attendance, it was most desirable that the children taken of workshops should be made to attend the habit should be formed with them. He could, get the children out of the shops, Stafford said, but he was not able to compel the children to attend school.
