From the Journal-Free Press: The second round of the baseball tournament being sponsored by the Osage City American Legion Robert Heizer Post 198, took place at the local diamond Sunday afternoon, the winning teams winning by a good score over their opponents. The first game between Overbrook and Pomona was a good one although the score was a bit one sided being 8 to 0. There are those who think Overbrook may go close to the finals.
