The Saratoga Performing Arts Center had the most attendance in 1971 since opening in 1 9 6 6 Attendance was 403,779, an increase of 19 per cent over 1970. The summer's 37 special concerts were responsible for the increase, drawing 270,221. The house, record for one night was set by the Who, attended by 33,652.
