When I can't get it, I can't-get it, but otherwise it's my regular brand.

What got me onto Sunoco gasoline was finding out about all the options you have in octane ratings. I mean the Custom Blending Pump It has eight different grades, and that's more grades than any other sta mmm llllill wmmmmm A it tion in town offers. I also asked a friend, a local gasoline pump manufacturer, about their pump, and he explained how it accurately measures 260 into every blend. And I hear 260 is the highest octane gasoline at any station. 1 I I p.

This is me Francis Ward. I live in Muskegon, Michigan. Here I am with my two cars. The old one has 170,000 miles on it. Well, having those eight octane choices, that's good for me.

My cars, like all cars, have their own special octane needs for optimum performance. With my old one, it's right between normal regular and normal premium. My new 71 uses Sunoco regular. 200. Can't imagine I'd get better performance from any regular around. The things I've said here about Sunoco, possibly they're not exactly the results everybody would get. Different cars react differently, of, course.

What I'm saying is that I 1 The Associated Press MIAMI BEACH Ebony beauty Cherri Creque of the Virgin Islands believes "black women now feel they have a chance" in contests such as Miss Universe. Cherri took heart when a black won the 1971 Miss World title. "After the Miss World victory, black girls have hope," said the shapely resident of St. Thomas. "It's still a longshot, but we have a chance." Miss Virgin Islands actually finished second in her home country's eliminations, but the winner was disqualified when it was discovered she was one year over the age limit of 27.

"It is an interesting experience," said Cherri, who was educated in the United States at Mercy Hurst College in Erie, Pa. "I'm trying my best because the Virgin Islands needs the publicity for its tourist trade." Cherri has a steady boyfriend back in St. Thomas, a Frenchman who moved to the Virgin Islands. One thing they never fuss about is women's liberation. "There's nothing to argue over)" she said.

"Virgin Island women have always been the world's most liberated." Miss Creque's parents are natives of the British Virgin Islands, but she was born on the American soil. Her father runs an upholstery business and her mother has a shoe store. "My mother also designs clothes," she said. "It comes in handy for a young girl. She made my gown for the Miss Universe pageant." The contest finals are scheduled Saturday "night when a successor will be crowned to Puerto Rico's Marisol Malaret.

"Puerto Rico is very close to my home," said Miss Creque, "so I have received some help from Marisol. J.t also gives me hope that somebody else can win from the area." i like Sunoco because of all the options they have in octane ratings, and the gasoline performs well in my cars.
