Young Is Complimented An attractive tea was presided over by Mra. Murray E. Cole Friday afternoon when she entertained in honor of her mother, Mrs.

C. H. Young, whoso birthday anniversary was an event of the day. Sixty guests, long time friends of Mrs. Young and her daughter, called at the Young home, 808 Four- teenth avenue, between the hours 61 and 5 o'clock.

Beautiful arrangements of How-, ers, birthday gifts to Mrs. Young, were used to decorate rooms of tbe borne. The tea table, moved so that, tho fireplace mantle could servo as a background, was centered with a. cut glass rose bowl, filled i pink and yellow-tinted Swedish candelabra in crystal held white tapers. Among tbe guests present was Mrs. G. Sandell of Denver, Mrs. Young's only sister. Included among the many greetings which Mrs.

Young received -were a telegram from her daughter, Mrs. H. Christeffersen, of Portland, and a telephone call from her grandson, Lieutenant Murray W. at the Roswell, N. all 1 base.

Mrs Young was further honored on Friday with the presentation of a large birthday cake following tbe meeting of the Woodmen of tlie World lodge, in session during tbe evening at tbe I. 0. 0. F. hall.

Mrs. Brasi Receives Park Church Group One at Home Group One of Park Congregational church was entertained tbe homo of Mra. James Fred Anderson of 141G Twelfth street, waa married to Dr. Ernest G. Cariani of Denver In a pretty ceremony solemnized Friday afternoon In St. Marlln'8 chapel of St. John's Cathedral in Denver.

Canon' Watts read tlio lonit ring service at 4. o'clock in the presence of about 60 friends and relatives. Tlio church organist provided soft background music thru- out the ceremony, and also played tbo traditional wedding inarches. The bride's street length frock was of afina blue crepe, designed with a fitted bodice to which was gathered the lull skirt. Sleeves were three-quarter length, and Bhirred at tlio elbow, and the neckline was high and round.

This was draped with filmy iuschia Red Cross Swim Class To Start Beginning, intermediate, and advanced swimming instruction Is now available to Greeley women as a result of tho completion of plans by the Weld county chapter of the American Red Cross. Classes will begin next Monday evening at 7 o'clock In the pool room of Gunter hall on Ihe CSCE campus. Women interested in taking the course, to be In charge of Valerie Conway, Red Cross instructor, should meet there for registration, having first obtained health certificate or medical check-up from any physician here.

Swimming Instruction will be given each Monday and Wednesday evening, and the fee Is to be not more than $4.50 for tho quarter period. It Is hoped that the fee will be less. The Red Cross Is particularly eager that townswomen avail themselves ot the opportunity ot this Instruction in swimming. A-Red Cross certificate will be awarded upon completion of the course.
