The range of topics, guests and viewpoints is described as "broad and varies from conservative to liberal, statesmen to sports figures, from world politics to sex to trends in entertainment." Bill Stiles, general managqr of Channel 23, said: "To the best of our knowl edge the idea of a talk-show with different hosts on a strip basis is unique in television. "We shall certainly be interested in community reaction. As we plan it, there will be topics of personal Interest to every television viewer in the area. "We expect 'Talk! Back 23' to be controversial, but then without controversy there wouldn't be much progress, would there?" The host lineup Is Lee Vogel, Mondays; Alan Rock, Tuesdays; Harold Dole, Wednesdays, and Sara Gyson, Thursdays. tmrnD ced ceiiihd guoed I i Hocy Opens AMERICA Workshop IS SAVED 4 How to cut violence out of a how, or why script writers on "Lancer" suddenly began to lose their hair: Scenes that were clipped from the show (and they had a lot of shows completed when the violent anti-violence wave began) were replaced by actors say-ing such lines of dialogue as, "I have no desire to risk gunfire for a town." "I don't want to have a blood bath for the sake of blood," and, in one case a real bad guy says to another actor, "Go ahead, kill him." Just as the other man raises his rifle, the real nieanie says "No, don't.

We'll take care of him later." And thus America has been saved. Actor Bud Hoey, formerly of New York and now a Miami resident, has announced the opening of a television commercial and motion picture workshop. "Non-professionals will find the course of extereme value in breaking into the TV and motion picture field," Hoey said, "and professionals the opportunity of brushing up on their technique with up-to-the-minute coaching aided by a video tape camera with instant playback." Those interested are invited to telephone for an appointment Miami 758-1963 or 754-6792. ii.
