On July 23rd, when our course begins, we start you off with simple words. Then simple sentences. After two and a half months, when the course ends, you'll have learned enough to get around anywhere.

English is avoided in the classes and you get immersion conversion with a native teacher. Academia offers daytime and evening classes and are small for individualised instruction. Academia Langone School CALL 533-1698 ANYTIME WASHINGTON The Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) has blown the Hawaii-Mainland travel market wide open by granting 15 airlines new non-stop routes between Hawaii and six 'major metropolitan areas in California and the Midwest.

Areas for the new Hawaii service under the ruling are Los Angeles-Ontario-Long Beach, San Diego. San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose, Chicago, St. Louis and Kansas City. Hawaiian Air was a big winner in the route decision, winning authority to fly to all six of the metropolitan areas covered by the order. Other smaller carriers that received new Hawaii routes are Ozark, PSA, Trans Carib Air, World and Trans International.

5lajor airlines that were granted new or expanded Hawaii routes by the CAB included American, Braniff. Continental, Delta, Eastern. National. Northwest. TWA and Western.

The broad Hawaii route awards were part of recent efforts by the CAB to increase competition among U.S. airlines. The awards are "permissive." meaning that airlines are not forced to start service on their ne''v routes. Specific awards, besides Hawaiian Air, included routes to Hawaii from these points: AN1ERICAN: Los Angeles-Ontario. i 1600 Kapiolani Blvd.
