The man, Frank Paishon. also testified that within a month or so of Lysiuk's death, Canianes had a rifle in a briefcase in his car. Earlier testimony in the trial identified Canianes as entering Lysiuk's apartment building carrying a briefcase within hours of her death. Canianes, 46, is on trial for the Oct.

13, 1978 murder of Lysiuk, who worked as a call girl under the name Lisa Colt. She was found strangled with a telephone cord and twine in her Amana Street apartment.
