Anderson Inspects All Buildings as Part of Week's Activity i City Fire Chief Elmer A Anderson reported today that excellent cooperation 1 is being gained in all schools in the matter of fire protection and fire prevention measures Chief Anderson made a detailed Inspection of the schools this week as aifort of the program in observance of Fire Prevention week Oct 4 to 10 Regular Practice -Principals of all schools have been instructed to hold fire drills at least once each month The condition of the schools is now good tin respect to fire pro tection the chief reported at the end of his inspection With several thousand self inspection blanks in the hands of property owners and tenants dis tributed by school children to be returned when completed to the fire' prevention committee headed by Carl Gaskill and Wm Blackburn or to the city fire department it is believed by the chamber of commerce that a new kind of fire prevention conscious ness will be aroused In times like the
