What can be the trouble with him? SUSANNA. Dear Susanna: Joe's only trouble is that he's too young to consider marriage as yet.

JORDAN, M.D. (Note: Dr. Jordan is a widely known and reputable mainland physician who writes regularly for Newspaper Enterprise association and The Star-Bulletin.) QUESTION For about a year I have been using saccharin tablets in my tea and coffee to help keep my weight down. Will the continued used of saccharin be harmful in any way? ANSWER It is necessary to answer this question rather frequently with a definite "no." This question has been carefully studied and no Kamakana had a Christian name Ruth which the Hawaiians pronounced as Luka. Dear Miss Dix: I was a widow and married a widower two years ago.

He has two daughters who resente1 his marrying again, but he was lonely and wanted a companion. We are very happy together, but the unmarried daughter, who has a gaod position, has been paying us weekend visits. During each visit, she is domineering, critical and disagreeable. When she leaves rcy husband and I are both in a turmoil. AGNES.

Dear Agnes: To avoid at least a few of these devastating weekends, could you plan a few trips jour-self It would be very difficult to come right out and tell the givl that her attitude is creating a tense situation. She probably is looking for just such an opportunity to act like a martyr and announce that since she's not wanted in her father's house she won't return at all. However, if you and. your husband feel that the condition is sufficiently troubled to warrant drastic action, it's your only course. D.

D. Dear Miss Dlx: My boy friend. Joe, is 21. and I am 20. We've been going together almost a year, ar.d although he has never asked me to 0 steady, we have taken it for granted.

He never speaks of marriage, nor has he said he loved me. We have lots of fun together, there Is no religious problem and we set oQii4! TateiVQlis oteocaaaiaE! It Happened Last Night By EARL WILSON NEW YORK Pat O'Brien had wanted to surprise daughter Mav-ourneen. He'd flown in for a Fathers' and Daughters Communion Breakfast at Marymount College. Not expecting him, she'd gone away for a weekend, and now a master of ceremonies was trying to soothe Pat's disappointment. 'For coming farther than anybody," said the speaker, "we're going to present you with a 1952 Cadillac." Listeners gasped.

Pat's eyes grew large. "Windshield wiper," added the speaker. OLD FRIEND Groucho Marx writes: "I read your column with avidity. Avidity is the name of a small Greek down the street" nun Herb Shriner tells at the Palace about a farmer from near Terre Haute, who went away for the first time to see the Big City the Big City being Indianapolis. "How'd you like it?" they asked him when he returned.

"Nope, it's not for" me," he said. "I'll still take the good old U.S.A." Eddie Cantor was congratulated the other day on his youthful look. Eddie protested that he didn't feel youthful. "But you haven't one gray hair," said his friend. "Yeah, and I blacken my shoes every day, too." replied Eddie.

una After the N. Y. Yankees dropped a game, a fan bellowed: "There's another game Joe DiMaggio lost." "What do you mean, 'Joe DiMaggio lost'?" spoke up Joe's roommate, Gentleman Georgie Solo-taire, angrily, "By not playing," retorted the fan. These three are buried in the old Makiki cemetery in Honolulu. Rebecca, who became Mrs. James Robinson, was born January 7, 1817. Hannah, who became Mrs. George Robinson was born in 1831.

We do not have Mark's birthplace. He died March 17. 1869 and his wife, Luka, lived with Mrs. Victoria Ward until she died November 2, 1895. AN EARLY MERCHANT John Prever was a merchant.

He acquired land near Lahaina at Wai-nalu and Waihale, This is recorded in the Land Court title book. In all probability John Prever lived in a large grass house as other traders Of the day lived and traded hides and tallow for ships goods which he in turn sold to. the Hawaiians. Lahaina was a center for shipping the hides and tallow from the wild cattle caught by John Parker and the Beckley boys at Waimea, Hawaii in the early 1800s. Family tradition is that he arrived in Lahaina long before the mission was established there in 1823.

He is probably buried in the old cemetery at Kahanapili, but no one seems to know. Next: James Robinson. pals. Likes rugby, football and cricket. Works in the boot and shoe trade.
