Goldie M. Carl E. Schmidt, 82, of Visja Drive, Campbellsport, died Thursday, March 21, 2002, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lfic He was born April 28, 1919, in the Town of Osceola, the son of Charles A.

and Ida Ramthun Schmidt. He was a graduate of Dundee Grade School. On June 23, 1945, he married Elvira "Pep" Haegler at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Dundee. Carl was a lifelong member of Trinity Ev.

Lutheran Church in Dundee. He farmed all his life in the Town of Osceola. Survivors include his wife, Elvira his children, Ken (Cam) Schmidt of Campbell-sport, Marie (John) Dins of Ke-waskum, Marjorie (Al) Beck of Campbellsport, and Barb (Tom) Ja'ndre of Campbellsport; and his grandchildren, Christine (Doug) Schmidt-Martin, Michelle (Michael) Hall, Karla Pete was a Third Degree member of Knights of Columbus Council 664 and the Civilian Conservation Corps. He is survived by his wife, Florence; three sons, Ronald (Debra) of Fond du Lac and their children, Amy (fiance Jim Arbogash) of Appleton and Adam at home, John (Mary) and their children, David and Brian of Pulaski, and Edward (Pat Bath) of Fond du Lac and his daughter, Alyson, of Waukesha; two brothers, Alex and Benedict; and two sisters, Martha Lesniak and Sadie Walkush. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Anton and Ervin; and three infant brothers.

Services: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Holy Family Parish, St. Mary Church with the Rev. Victor Capriolo officiating. Burial will be in St.

March 24, 2002 Goldie M. Hamm, 96, 111 Seventh died Friday, March 22, 2002, at All About Life Rehabilitation Center, Fond du Lac. She was born May 14, 1905, in LeRoy to John and Mathilda Wenninger Stumpf. She married Raymond N. Hamm on May 2, 1927, at St.

Patrick Church with the Rev. T.J. Cosgrove officiating. Raymond preceded her in death in 1962. Goldie was a LPN at St.

Agnes Hospital on the maternity ward. She retired in 1973. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph Church and the Catholic Women's group. She is survived by one son, Rolland C.

Hamm of Carlsbad, 19 grandchildren, David Hamm, Dorothy Correll, Nancy Candlish, John Hamm, Daniel Hamm, Diane Freund, Theresa Hamm, Susan Hamm, Caryl Greenwood, Alan Hamm, William Hamm, Doug Hamm, Sandy Valtierra, Thomas Hamm, Steven Hamm, Karen Tempas, Julie Weston, Alexandria Krueger, and Diane Hamm; 27 great-grandchildren; four great-great-granchildren; Raymond J. Casimer "Pete" Kurzynski, 85, 761 W. Scott passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2002, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. He was born on Feb. 8, 1917, in the Town of Dewey, Portage County, the son of John and Anna Raczek Kurzynski.

On June 12, 1947, he married Florence Brennan at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fond du From 1936 to 1939, Pete served with the Civilian Conservation Corps in various parts of the state. He enlisted and served in the Army from 1942 to 1945. He served under Gen. George Pat-ton in the Armored Tank Corps and fought in the Battle of the Bulge and The European Theater.

Pete was honorably discharged in 1945 with numerous medals. After his discharge he worked for the Fond du Lac Stone Company for 45 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Mary Church, where he was an usher for many years. He was also a member of St.

Mary Holy Name Society and the St. Joseph Society. Elizabeth Elizabeth A. Bandle, 72, of 321 S. Milwaukee Theresa, died Friday, March 22, 2002, at the Hope Health and Rehab Center in Lomira.

She was born Sept. 24, 1929, in the Township of Theresa to Lawrence and Loretta Steger. On Feb. 18, 1950, she married Carl L. Bandle Sr.

in Theresa. She was a secretary at Maysteel for 17 years and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Theresa. She was also a member of the Theresa American Legion Auxiliary Post 270 for 47 years. She is survived by her husband, Carl of Theresa; three sons, Carl J.

"Bear" (Nancy) Bandle of Theresa, Mark (Jill) Bandle of North Fond du Lac, and Gary Bandle of Theresa; two brothers, Clarence (Betty) Steger of Theresa and Merle (Anita) Steger of Mayville; one sister-in-law, Lucille Steger of Lomira; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She is Sister Alice Marie Skiko, CSA Hamm two daughters-in-law, Ruth Hamm and Helen Landreman, both of Fond du Lac; one sister, Gertie Lenhardt of Pewaukee; great-nieces, Delores "Tootie" Miller and Shirley Levinson; and nephew, Butch Lenhardt. She was preceded in death by three sons, Raymond J. Hamm, Roger L. Hamm; and Robert D.

Hamm; a daughter-in-law, Pat Hamm; two grandsons, Gary and Richard Hamm; four sisters, Lucy Stumpf, Laura Blum, Leona Wagner and Rose Stumpf; two brothers, William and Linus Stumpf. Services: Will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2002, at Twohig Funeral Home. Fond du Lac, with the Rev. Patrick Heppe officiating.

Visitation: Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. Mondayun-til the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Springs High School or Holy Family Parish.

See our ad on page 3 for details. Raymond Joseph Riley, 76, of 874 Castle Road, Fond du Lac, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2002, at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Fla. He was born Nov. 6, 1925, in Fond du Lac, the son of the late Jermiah and Hannah Weidner Riley.

He married Dorothy Deere, who passed away on Jan. 24, 1969. Raymond then married Joan Miller on May 17, 1991, at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. Raymond graduated from Fond du Lac High School with the Class of 1943.

He then served with the U.S. Army as a medic during World War II. Raymond worked for 35 years as a field administrator for Michigan-Wisconsin Pipe Line, a division of El Paso Energy, until his retirement in 1982. He is a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph Church, and a lifetime member of Elk's Lodge 57 in Fond du Lac.

Survivors include his wife, Joan of Fond du Lac; his chil Loaves and Fishes will serve a meal at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Salvation Army. Don't forget! Sister Alice Marie professed vows in the Congregation of St. Agnes on Aug. 15, 1951. She devoted her life to education and ministered in elementary and secondary schools in New York, Indiana and Wisconsin, including St. Mary's Springs High School in Fond du Lac.

Sister Alice Marie was honored as a distinguished Lasal-lian Educator and was inducted into the Sacred Heart High School (Younkers, N.Y.) Hall of Fame. She also served the Congregation of St. Agnes as a Regional Coordinator. Most recently, she performed volunteer work at St. Francis Home.

Survivors include two brothers, Edward J. and his wife Kathleen M. Skiko of Boca Raton, and Peter P. Raab, 48, formerly of Fond du Lac and a resident of New York City, N.Y., died Monday, March 19, 2002, at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York City. He was born April 6, 1953, in Fond du Lac, the son of Thomas and Dolores Schwartz Raab. In October 1973, he married Debra Guenther at Sheboygan. She preceded him in death in October 1996. He was a graduate of Goodrich High School, Class of 1971, and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in June, 1978.

He received the Max Beckmann Scholarship in painting to attend the Brooklyn Museum of Art. He was an artist and had paintings at the World Trade Center.
