Several letters pf appreciation have been received from mothers of needy families and one mother, who came to the Good Fellows headquarters this morning to ask, why her entire list of requests had not been filled, thanked the Good Fellows for having extended their aid as thoroughly as they did and her appreciation of the gifts her family received.

Mrs. Frank L. Browning, a 123 Adams avenue, this city, with whom she had made her home for several years past. Mrs. Hope born at Wooler, Northumberland, January- 1824, being the oldest of a family of six the daughter of William and Jane Miller.

Her father was a prominent business man, a thirty-second degree i Mason, and grand lodge officer. An 1 heirloom much prized by the deceased and the family is her father's Masonic which'is at least 125 years ola. was preceded in death by her five brothers and sisters, one daughter ani husband, who died in England 'about 25 years ago, at which time she came to Ogden to live owing to three of her children being residents of this city. She is survived by four children, Mrs. Janes Hope English.

William Miller Hope, Mrs. Margaret Hope Smurthwaite, all of Ogden, and Alex- iander Hope, of 20 -grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchii- dren. Mrs. Hope was a woman of fine mental'attainments, her early education having been acquired in a private school for girls, s. devoted Christian.
