Scherer says continued efforts are needed by the community to see that long-sought improvements to Highways 41 and 151 are realized. Improvements to these highways are among 17 projects listed by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for possible enumeration and construction as major highway projects. Scherer made the comments during a talk to the Fond du Lac Rotary Club recently. The projects were presented to the state Transportation Projects Commission (TPC) at a meeting at the state capital. The 15-member commission will make a final recommendation to Gov.

Tommy Thompson and the Legislature by Dec. 1. Not all of the projects are expceted to be recommended for enumeration by the TPC.
