L-1TTLE ROCK, April 0.—Federal Judge Trimble lias denied a petition of the office of Price Administration for a permanent injunction restraining the Hotel Marion from what the OPA alleged \vas willful violation of numerous federal rent control regulations. In a memorandum opinion, Judge Trimbel stated that "the court finds the defendant took timely, positive, immediate, anrt vigorous action to prevent a recurrence of .such violations of the regulations and the hnv." 'Adding that ah injunction "would only be ^ source of embarrassment to the defendant." the judge continued that "the utmost that could be accomplished would be to secure compliance with the regulations to the fullest extent humanly possible, and this defendant has evidenced its intention to do so." However, he directed the defendant hotel to tile supplemental registration reiwrts and all other reports required by the OPA laws. Reviewing last week's livo day hearing in which the OPA alleged that the hotel failed lo post maximum rate curds in some roams, and overcharged in oilier instances from 25 cents to $2 above the ceiling price. Judge Trimble reported that the court was of the opinion that Ihe extent of the violations was a very small percentage in proportion to the business done. The OPA has filed similar petitions lor injunctions against the Albert Pike and Lar-'ayeltc hotels here. Mrs. Mildred Cagle Brown, Osceola. Take Care 0!'
