By BERT DARK KHJK, the call letters which signified "Henry J. Kaiser" when it beamed programs at Hilo on the Big Island, probably will be San Francisco's next television outlet. Kaiser Broadcasting, now headed by vice president Dick Block who gave orders at Honolulu's KHVH before Bob Berger acquired the station, has had a petition pending before the FCC for months for a new Bay Area station. KHJK-TV would be UHF (ultra high frequency) Channel 44 in Baghdad by the Bay.

i owns KFOCi-FM in San Francisco, WKBS (Channel 48) in Philadelphia; and WKBD (Channel 50) in Detroit, now under the careful eye of John Serrao, who once managed KHVH here. Other Kaiser broadcast interests include KMTW in Los Angeles, now under construction, and Boston's Channel 68, for which Mr. Block awaits final FCC approval, as he does for San Francisco's KHJK. Titled "Raid on the San Francisco Mint," the historic "Death Valley Days" account unveils the daring plot of Ralston to hoodwink the army general in command of the mint.
