Well, plenty, in case you didn't realize it. Kinoike Kekaulike 1 f) NIP It Happened Last Night By EARL WILSON NEW YORK Vivian Blaine, the 96-pound gal star of "Say, Darling," insisted on kissing me when I went backstage, and I let her then I noticed a strange thing. She kissed everybody. Nervousness, I guess.

David Wayne, colossal as always, had from Johnny Desmond who proved a great young actor. Desmond had a particularly obnoxious swagger that I had to admire. "That obnoxious strut," I "is wonderful acting." He just stared and then said, coolly, "That's not acting. That was me!" Horace McMahon delivers an effective line to Constance Ford when he says: "I want to pay you, the highest compliment you can pay to a guy's wife you don't look like a guy's wife." THEY'RE FRESH The freshest thing in supper clubs in years is the team of Florence Henderson, once of "Fanny," and Bill Hayes, who made "Davy Crockett" famous. "The Singing Sweethearts" opened at the St.

Regis and had the audience shouting "More, More!" i A tribute to Richard Rodgers was something Dick R. would want to see himself. 1 Strange thing when one of them mentioned IUj5N0f Kinoike was governess of Kauai at one time and was governess of the Big Island in 1834. Her hour of splendour came when Kalakaua and Kapiolani had a coronation ceremony, European style, in 1883. Dressed in a trailing gown from Paris, Kinoike led the procession from Iolani Palace to the coronation stand.

She carried the feather cloak of state which decorated the chair in which the king sat. She was followed by Po'omaikalani as her attendant and both sisters were followed by attendants carrying kahilis. Kinoike did not rear her own three sons. In Hawaiian style, she gave each of the boys to her elder sister Kapiolani and it was the queen who reared them as her ha-nae (adopted sons). She was the first of the three sisters to pass away.

Her death came January 8, 1884, scarcely a year after the coronation. She was 41 years of age. NEXT: Queen Kinoike Kekaulike was the third of the daughters of the High Chief Kuhio of the Big Island and Kinoike, daughter of Kaumualii of Kauai, whom King Kalakaua raised to the status of Her Royal Highness. Kalakaua made Kapiolani his queen, Po'omaikalani was the Palace manager but Kinoike was the more important in the eyes of the Ha-waiians because she had sons to carry on the blood of the last king of Kauai. Her haole name was Victoria.

Kinoike means "the petite one" and Kekaulike means "equality with the gods." SMALL AND QUIET She was a small woman, like her sister Po'omaikalani, and was reticent like her sister the Queen. Kinoike married the High Chief David Kahalepouli Pii-koi and lived on the Piikoi estate, the site now occupied by the Kapiolani Hospital. When Kalakaua became king, he showered her with honors just as he did Po'omaikalani. The three sisters seemed to have taken turns acting as governess of the Big Island or Kauai. 42 Bottle stopper.

Your neighbors who are in the throes of puppy love will get along fine without your help.

Just smile and be happy with them youth is a time for joy! M.N. Dear Muriel: I'm 16, and go with three of the most wonderful guys in the world. They're polite, thoughtful and nice looking. My parents like them all, but don't approve of us going around as a quartet. I know they're right, but none of the boys likes any other girls.

R.N. Dear R.N.: Don't let the government hear of this or you'll be charged with violation of the anti-monopoly laws. Admit that you're delighted with this arrangement; shutting other girls out gives you quite a sense of power, doesn't it? Well, you've had your fun, now share the loot by getting your friends into the charmed circle. I'm sure you have some very nice girl friends. Maybe they don't have your fascination, but two of the boys will have to do with second best.
