Crystal Poland scored two goals to lead visiting Northeastern (5-4, 1-1 CAA) to a 3-1 victory over William and Mary which got its lone goal from Kelsey Jackson. Camilla Hill made nine saves for the Tribe (4-6, 0-1 CAA). No. 4 Virginia moved to 10-0, its best start since the 1979 team went 12-0, with a 2-0 home victory over Boston College in its ACC opener. Paige Selenski had a goal, and assisted on Inga score for the Cavaliers.

Goalkeeper Kim Kastuk made three saves to shut out the Eagles (7-2, 0-2 ACC).
