TBI TRUE nrWARDXISS OF THE AR-REBT-A COS8PIKACY AGAISST THE TliEOKE. -j- Special DUpatco to the World tyHawver. Bilboa. Sept. 8 A person giving the name of Don Twid Antelme was arrested by a detachment of the Guard La Civil at a posada in the Province of Pontevedra on Tuesday, and has been taken to the fortress at Vigo under a close guard.

The motive for seizure is not officially disclosed, and it is rumored that cipher dis- patches concealed about his person expose a plot for the overthrow of the throne in favor of the pretender, Don Carlos. The dispatches amount in bulk of several bushels. There is also a gallery of photographs among them, which revealed to the astonished gaze of the police the faces of male children solely. of the dispatches, not in cipher, is dated from an obscure place, not on the maps, called Pel Monico, in America4and exhibits thegg words to me, who, hare "Twia, vigo. In the cityor Pemmylvania there lived a tribe to.owix ChaliaroHsi inaustnous, -wotuuiy, fecund. Against this tribe, not out of hatred for his kind, but out of love for their children, he conspired. Upon the devoted community he swooped, and one by one bore away their children to his estates. Upon them he lavished his im-; mense wealth. He carpeted his ancestral halls with acres of Gobelins.

He spared no expense for piaster. The jour-sals of the day teemed with the accounts of his magnificence in champagne sup--. piemen ts. Bnt the wrath of the Penn-evlvanians led by one Tilden drove him from his home and made it a desert. He tied.

When he came to our shores is not known. The peasants of Pontevedra first discovered him in the spring of this year. After the severe winter he was found occupying a cave in the mountains, long since deserted, whither he was in the habit of enticing the little children of the Pontevedrans, whom he amused with picture books in a strange tongue. One of these books is preserved. It begins: We alnned ail." Among these strange dispatches was the one above 2 noted, and also others, showing beyond oubt that the eccentric hermit was deeply involved in a conspiracy to overthrow the throne and establish the pretender, Don Carlos. Intelli gence was received by the Government that a secret meeting was held on the night of August SL in the obscure hamlet called Del Monioo, America, at which were present Don Carlos, the Martinis Velasco, the Marquis Ponce de Leon, the Viscount Montserrat the great Cuban leader, Carlos A.
