A few years and four children later, they moved to Seminole County and opened Bob Dance Dodge. While Bob Dance became a household name, appearing in wacky TV ads for his car dealerships, Linda Dance was the dedicated wife and mother.

"It was a true love story," their daughter said. "No matter what my dad wanted to do, she supported him in all of his dreams. She was behind the scenes, letting the light shine on him, and she was the quiet support. She was quieter and he was very boisterous. Together, that was a good match." Linda Dance loved shopping and travel, but her passion was spending time with her family.

She treasured family trips to Colorado. "When we were out there, we were truly able to just be together and have family time," her daughter said. "Those were the times she was at the height of her happiness, just having our family togetherness." Linda Dance particularly doted on her grandchildren. She volunteered at Our Savior's Catholic School in Cocoa Beach, where some of her grandchildren are students. Bob Dance died in 2008, but the three dealerships remain in the family.

The wacky TV commercials continue, too, now starring the couple's son Brian Scott Dance of Cape Canaveral. In addition to her daughter and Brian, Linda Dance is survived by sons Robert Todd Dance of Cocoa Beach and Jeffery Steven Dance of Heathrow; three sisters and two brothers; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
