22,2002, to Marty and Dana Gayler. When Dana Gayler looked into eyes, she knew the little girl was special. Dana Gayler said. As an infant, Haley cried whenever her mother left the room. Only her mother and grandmother Michelle Leonard could comfort her, Dana Gayler said.

Doctors blamed stress or allergies. The symptoms grew worse, and Dana Gayl- er brought her daughter to Arnold Palmer in April 2008. The diagnosis was swift: Haley had amassive tumor in the left side of her brain. She had surgery, and was in and out of hospitals in Orlando and Gainesville for the next six months. Still, Haley was lively.

She named the IV pole she pulled with her as she explored the hospital. name is Elaina, and going to go everywhere I she told her mother. family was hopeful in fall 2008. The cancer stopped growing. She started kindergarten at Minneola Elementary School in January, and soon learned her mother was pregnant with her little sister Olivia Gapud.Haley read stories to her growing belly.

On May 1, Haley was appointed the official Princess of the Relay for Life of South Lake, an American Cancer Association fundraiser at East Ridge High School. Volunteers dressed her as Belle from Beauty and the Beast with a long wig of brown curls. She rode in a white stretch limousine, and sat her on a throne topped with a purple satin pillow. Olivia was born in July. Days later, tests showed cancer returned.

Surgeons removed about 80 percent of the tumor, but the pressure in brain caused so much pain she screamed. Morphine help. Walking became difficult. The cancer spread to her spinal fluid, and she was placed in a medicallyinduced coma. was no longer Dana said.

Her parents agreed to take her off of life support. I think about her, I laugh. I smile. I look at her pictures and cry. I see how happy she Dana said.

In addition to her parents, baby sister, and grandmother, Haley is survived by her older brother Caleb and grandparents Larry and Dianne Decker and Charles Leonard. Amemorial service will be held today at St. United Methodist Church, 4851S. Apopka-Vineland Road, Orlando. Ocoee Family Funeral and Cremation Chapel is handling arrangements.

Wesley A nthony Bucek passed peace- ully on Oct. 26, 2009. Born in East Islip, New York on May 5, 1931to Unton and Frances Bucek, Wes and his family made the move to Winter Park in January 1960. This was when he was first hired by the Coca-Cola Minute Maid Corporation where he spent the next 34 years building his esteemed career. Over the years, he spent his time perfecting his golf game, leisurely living his summer months in the mount ains of North Carolina, fishing and avidly following sports.

But without a doubt, his most adored memories came from he great success that was his 52 year marriage to his loving wife Muriel who he is survived by; along with his son, Bryan, son Mark and daughter-In-law Julie; daughter Lisa and son- in-law Todd Postlmayr; and grandchildren Stacy Bucek, Jennifer and Colin Bucek, and Brianne, Brooke and Kurt Postlma r. Orange MICHAEL, 18, left this life to step into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Oct. 25, 2009; he is survived by his parents, Bert and Michelle Hooks of Tangerine; grandparents, Don and Jan Hatto of Leesburg; and grandmother, Barbara Hooks of Montverde. Philip has numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, not all of whom he was related to. Philip graduated with honors in June 2009, from Christian Home and Bible School, where he played football, managed basketball, and was on the track eam.

Philip had over 400 community service hours at graduation, including Best Buddies at Lake Hills School and working at Round Lake Elementary School. Philip was loved by everyone who knew him, from small children at Vacation Bible School to older people at Singing Saints. His uncle Joe called him "Prince Philip played bass gui- ar at First United Methodist Church and at First Baptist Church of Mt. Dora. Philip will be greatly missed by the many people who loved him so much.

Visitation will be held rom 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Dora. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 3:30 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Dora, with Pastor Gary Upleger and Rev.

She was a parishioner of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Orlando.

She is survived by her younger brother, James Burke in Orlando, and his family. She was predeceased by her older brother, Herbert T. Burke; his surviving children are nephews Thomas J. Burke and Fr. Herbert Burke in NC and a niece, Frances Burke-Urr in VA.
