Lynn, principal of Kauai Technical School, has been assigned the principalship of Kapiolani Technical School in Honolulu. S. Air Force senior pilot, flew approximately 2,835 miles to wed Margett H. Beachboard, who lives at 750 Laau Place in Waikiki. The couple exchanged wedding vows at p.m. Saturday in the Chapel at Hickam Air Force Base before Chaplain Robert Wilson.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick von Marbod of Redwood Estates, California, and he is the son of the late Reverend and Mrs. John II. Launderville, formerly of Ogdensburg, New York.

FOR HER WEDDING, the former Chief of Entertainment for U. S. Air Forces in Europe at Wiesbaden, Germany, selected an Italian silk blush pink ballerina-length gown, flecked with light grey floral print, designed for her in Paris. The dress was enhanced by a silk sash softly gathered around the waist and caught at the side by a sterling silver clip with majolica pearl pattern, and has a neckline and three-quarter-length sleeves. She wore a matching silk bandeau accented with light grey feathers and carried a bouquet of light pink rosebuds and stephanotis, centered with a wrhite Phalaen-opsis orchid and satin ribbon streamers.

TWO SISTERS arrived from San Jose, California, to be her only attendants. Mrs. Phillip Hayden appeared in an" ivory Japanese silk ballerina dress with a flared skirt, neckline and three-quarter-length sleeves, while Mrs. Ray Castello chose an ivory silk ballerina gown, designed with a rounded neckline and accented with red trim, flared skirt and cap sleeves. Their bouquets were an arrangement of hybrid Vanda orchids and pikake streamers.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white ballerina-length gown of Chantilly lacs and enhanced with a sabrina neckline and three-quarter length sleeves. Coleman, Pearl" Harbor, 5-6155 By ELLE BOWMAN PEARL HARBOR, June 17 A lare group of very special ladies were warmly welcomed to Awa Lau Wahine's Tuesday luncheon by the president, Mrs. Lloyd Root, who said that they were the nicest guests the club could hope to honor. These special guests, wearing flowers or ribbons in their hair, some in crinolines and some in smart sheaths, ranged in age from three years to early twenties, yet all had one common bond. They were daughters of members of Awa Lau Wahine, Oahu's big Navy and Marine Officers Wives Club, and this was the annual mother-daughter luncheon, given at the Pearl Harbor Officers Club. The spirit of Kamehamcha Day was definitely in the air and the luncheon tables, set for a record crowd of 190, were covered with yellow linen and decorated with bright red and yellow crepe paper kahilis and arrangements of matching hibiscus.

The centerpieces were the work of wives of Destroyer Division 252 under the direction of Mrs. H. I. Mandcl. MRS.

L. J. JONES, program chairman, lrtroduced the performing artists, Josephine Taylor and Lucy Ann who presented a program of modern dance numbers, costumed in brilliant reds and yellows which blended perfectly with the luncheon decor. 4 Mrs. Holtzworth danced the amusing "Four Episodes in a Woman's Life" and a fast moving "Tarantella" while Miss Taylor was, choreographically, a gay "Country Flirt," a dramatic "Persephone" and finally zo Ryusaki of Kamucla.

Ha The pilot and his bride were honored at a dinner at 8 p.m. in the Tapa Room, of the Hawaiian Village Hotel, after which they left for a honeymoon at Coco Palms in Kauai and on the Kona Coast of the Island of Hawaii.
