Mrs. Crutfhfleld alleges In her petition that he and her husband were married December 18. 1891. and lived together as man and wife until Jung 12.

1908 at which time his cruelty to her caused her to leave him. with regard to which she makes the following charge That prior to her quitting him along about June II. tile said S. H. CrutchfleJd undertook to gouge out her eyes and threatened to kill her.

Before leaving her. as aforesaid the said J. H. Crutchfield kicked her. placed her head under ht.

arm and beat her on the back of the head. That he cursed her night and day. using vulgar' and obscene language with regard to her. and threatened and un. dertook to beat her brains out with a baseball bat.

She further avers that she WM Induced to return to him reel leaving him on June 2. under the solemn promise that he would thereafter treat her properly and affectionately as a wife should be treated but that shortly after her return to him he again threatened to km her with a baseball bat choked her cut up her clothes kicked her and put her head under his arn a4 her.
