Merritts avenue. The lower floor of the home was decorated with palms. ferns and cut flowers. The color motif of pink and green was carried out. in every detail.

The ceremony was performed In the living room before an improvised altar of palms with candelabras on either fide holding white tapers and a large vase holding' white dahlias in the center. Before the ceremony Mrs. C. L. Belllnl1rath sang At Dawning" and Promise Me accompanied by Miss Nelle Eaves on the piano.

and Rudolph Drown on the violin. The ceremony was performed by Dr. Henry Hord Porter of the Second Baptist church. The bridal party entered the living room to Mendelssohn's wedding march. Little Martha Cason and Dorothy Moore cousins of the bride were ribbon bearers and en tered first wearing dainty frocks of white crepe de chine and pink georgette.

The home was tastily decorated with many sari-colored garden flow- ers feathery clematis and pot plants and tall tapers from crystal candlesticks shed their. mystic mellow light on the lovely. scene.

The bride wore a handsome coat. suit of dark-blue' duvet de lolne. with a henna-embroidered blue blouse. Her poin away hat was blue and henna and she wore a small fur of the new fall mode. Her bouquet was of orchids and swansonia.

An informal reception followed the ceremony. and punch and dainty ices were served by Ussses Kate Johnson. Radian Moran. Lurline and Kate Parker. Janie Reeves and Mesdames J.

C. Meadows and J. Lee Barren. Taylor Whipple. Mr.
