While it was on, Thursday night and Friday morning, it was intense. It included police dogs, deputies and helicopters from Seminole and Volusia counties and agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. For a time, State Road 46A was closed from Old Lake Mary Road to U.S. Highway 17-92. The shooting happened after 10p.m.

Thursday. A security guard at the apartment complex on Hartwell Avenue alerted Worrall to a suspicious person. Worrall, working alone, got out of his patrol car, McAuliffe said. he turned the corner, he was McAuliffe said.
