Mr. McGinnis had been confined to his bed for. several weeks and while his death was not unexpected it came as a shock to his- many friends. Funeral services were- conducted Thursday at 10 30 o'clock at the Methodist church by the Rev. H.

T. T. Younge of 6 Houston street. and one of- his ex- business partners In a chop stacy joint at Broad and Luckie streets by the name of Long Arm. Dr.

Young. apparently got the worst of the battle for the herb doctor had tc be sent to the Grady hospital where a number of stitches were taken is his head. There was no Joy in Chinatown last night at midnight when Long Arm went on his rampage at 83 East Hun- ter street the Chinese Masonic hall He was armed with a black jack. Long Arm claimed. that Dr.

Younge owed hint money. and when the doctor appeared at the Chinese Masonic hall 59 East Hunter srteet. Long Arm be gan to insist upon an immediate payment. Younge was only saved from a terrific beating by the timely arrival 01 Call Officer Looney. Mllam and Harry Glenn a moving picture man and newspaper reporters.

Lo Arm was bleeding from a deep scalp wound and he. too. had to be sent to Grady tot repairs. Officer Milam pulled out of his pocket a patch of subpoenas and began to summon the Chinarnen to police court. Your name' he' inquired of one Chinaman.
