Mr. Booth was a native of Punta Gorda, residing most of his life in Milton. owned and operated Flowers by Dan, and continued working most of his life in the floral industry. He served as a volunteer with the Santa Rosa Hospital Auxiliary, and was a member of the Olive Baptist Church and the Chapel Sunday School Class. Mr.

Booth is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jan Booth of Milton; one son, Stephen (Lisa) Booth of Mobile, AL; daughter, Sandy (Terry) Dallas, TX; three grandchildren, Tiffany and Timothy and Courtney Wilson; and his mother-in-law, Bessie Bailey of Milton. E.L. "JOHNNY" COBB 1923-2005 E. L. "Johnny" Cobb, nearly 82, was born March 28, 1923 Pensacola, Florida, and peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2005. He was a lifelong resident of Pensacola and a lifelong member of Whitfield Memorial Baptist Church of Pensacola.

He retired in 1980 as a Supervisor Production Controller from the Naval Air Rework Facility at the Pensacola Naval Air Station after 37 years of service. He and his wife were founding members of the Felix Miga Senior Citizen's Center in Myrtle Grove. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ethel Resmondo Cobb; sisters, Jeanette Cobb Brown Gentry, Geneva Cobb Ray, Eva Cobb Restucher, Beaula May Cobb, Bernice Cobb Hughen, and infant brother Elvin Cobb. LOCAL BRIEF Two people killed in separate car accidents Two people died in unrelated vehicular accidents within minutes of each other late Friday night, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said. Two unidentified people were ejected in a single-vehicle crash about 10 p.m. at Highway 97 and Pelt Road in Walnut Hill, troopers said. Also about 10 p.m., an unidentified pedestrian was struck and killed, possible by two vehicles, North 69th Street and Weatherwood Drive, troopers said.

Both crashes were under investigation, they said. The accidents happened less than an hour after a head-on collision involving an Escambia County sheriff's patrol car and a minivan at Eliasburg Street and West Fairfield Drive.
