A Duty That Should Be a Pleasure These young men that we are sending off to war will some day come back. That is some of them will. Let us hope that most of will and that their war experiences will make them even nobler and better Americans. And as these young men leave home to fight that freedom and civilization may not perish have we at home no duty to perform For those who remain at home our duty while far less dangerous is hardly less important. It is for us to keep the home fires burning and the wheels of industry moving.

It is for us to see that our home factories and mills are kept going to full capacity and that the prosperity of our people is not halted. This continued prosperity home can be best assured by buying and using the products of our home people. In these factories and mills are employed thousands of men and women many of them the fathers brothers sisters of the young men we have sent to war all of them people on whose prosperity our own depends and whose employment and. wages are dependent on our purchase of the goods they make. When we send these young men way to fight shall we not see that those they have left behind.

do not want for employment at a fair wage Shall we not therefore buy and use the made by home people Shall we not do this when it involves no sacrifice no inferiority in quality or increase in price' The manufacturers below furnish employment to thousands of home people and their products are in every way worthy of your full confidence.
