Why not come in and use our convenient lay-a-way plan? Then you'll have it when you need it. If your figure is a little heavy -one of fashion's tricks is to wear the darker colors. They do much to make you look smaller. Fall is a color full time and fashion uses nature's subdued tones as well as a riot of bright darks to add glamour and color to this year's wardrobe or spice up those favorite pieces from last year. Donn Kenny does it beautifully for fall in Rust and Plum -those rich dark colors so lovely to look at and so flattering to wear.

Mohair loop jackets, solid jackets, luscious silky blouses in prints and solids, skirts and pantsall your old favorites with new styling. Are you a larger size girl? That's no reason to envelope yourself in the shapeless. Fashion now wraps you in clothes with shape. Which does much to change you from an older to a younger appearance. "We've got a lot of different places open and a lot of new faces, to fill those positions," said Lucas, who notes that last year's team was basically a senior team. "This year we have a good group of athletes with a lot of desire," said Lucas.

"If they continue to put forth the effort they've exhibited thus far we will be competitive." Lucas notes that the Tigers are working on fundamentals of the game right now, looking at the places that need work, shuffling the players around. On defense the Tiger team will have two returning starters. "Bobby Johnson will play defensive tackle and Scott Garner will fill the defensive end slot," said Lucas. Offensively, Charles Morgan and Scott Garner will start, according to Lucas. A total of 42 young men reported for the first practice session last Tuesday.
