Mr. Dewitt Talmadge Byrd Mr. Dewitt Talmadge Byrd, 50, of Kenner, La. died March 20 at Magee General Hospital. The Smith County native was a member of Presbyterian Church and a foreman Warehauser Corp.

Calvary, Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 22, at 2 p.m. at Calvary Presbyterian Church with Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Survivors include two sons, Eric Vaughn Byrd of Harahan, Paul Byrd of South Bend, one daughter, Alicia Byrd of THE MAGEE COURIER.

These services are: (1) Administrative- of CDBG application and submission to the State of Mississippi. If funded by the State, the following services: assist the local government during the signing of the Grant Agree ment with State; conduct environmental review of proposed project; general program management including accounting, required reports to the State and HUD, Implementation of applicable State and Federal laws, regulations and requirements; estabilshment and maintenance of filing system; and liaison between local government and State.

Firms or Individuals proposing to perform administrative services should submit a list of their qualifications and experience. Proposals are being requested in accordance with OMB Circular A-102, Attachment 0, paragraph 11c, "Competetive Negotiation." Contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder whose proposal is determined to be most advantageous to the City of Magee, cost and other factors considered.

The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the proposal process. Proposals should be sealed and properly labeled and may be delivered by mail or hand to 123 N. Main, Magee, MS. Proposals will be opened and read aloud on April 5, 1983 at 7:30 p.m. Additional information may be obtained at Office of the City Clerk.

March 24, 1983 620 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Bids for "New Facility-D'Lo Water Park, Simpson County, Mississippi, Project No. 8301" will be received by the Pearl River Basin Development District (OWNER) at its office at 2304 Riverside Drive, P.O. Box 5332, Jackson, Mississippi 39216 until 10:00 A.M. CDST, April 4, 1983, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. A deposit of $50.00 is required for each set of contract documents. Each General Contractor, Subcontractor or material supplier will receive $25.00 refund of his deposit for contract documents returned to Architect in good condition. All contract documents must be returned to the office of the Architect within ten days of bid in order to receive refund. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Barron of Marrero, one sister, Mrs. Mary Ruth of Taylorsville; four brothers, Cecil Hegwood, John W. Green and Stokes Green, all of Taylorsville and S.L. Green of Laurel. Miss Fannie Lee Butler Miss Fannie Lee Butler, 68, of Whitfield died March 13 at the Mississippi State Hospital.

The Jefferson Davis County native was a member of Phalti Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, March 16, at 10 a.m. at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Judean Purser officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery in Jefferson Davis County with Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two sisters. Mrs. Ruby B. Smith, Mrs. Johnnie Rose Langford, both Mt.

Olive; two brothers, James K. Butler of Little Rock, Fletcher Stroud Butler of Canton. Mrs. Martha Edna Dennis Mrs. Martha Edna Dennis, 56, of Albemarle Health Care Center in Jackson died March 15 at Hinds General Hospital.

She was a native of Covington County. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 17, at 2 p.m. at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Shiloah Cemetery in Covington County with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Survivors include two sons, James Dennis of Tickfaw, Jerry Dennis of Collins; two daughters, Mrs.
