Bus No. 2 will leave from the service station at the intersection of Highway 28 and 13 in the morning. Next stop will be in Pinola at the service station across from Bush's store. From Pinola the bus will go to Union and pickup at Gillis Store then on to Steen's Store. From Steen's Store the bus will turn around and go through Harrisville.

Pickup station in Harrisville will be near Dr. Neely's old office. Next pickup will be at Jerry's Fish Camp then on to Jackson. Pickup time and drop-off times for the local area as well as the Jackson area will have to be worked out. Magee Schools' Who's Who to be presented Feb. 24, 25 A Touch of Southern Class is the theme of Magee High School's 1983 Beauty and Beau pageant- -Who's Who presentation, announced Donna McLean, pageant coordinator. The program, which will be held at Magee High School auditorium, will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will feature entertainment by Brad Jones, music director at Eastside Baptist Church and Dana Davidson, said Mrs.

McLean. Reserve tickets can be purchased at Ray Blackledge's office. General admission tickets will be on sale at the door that night. All tickets are $3. Magee Elementary and Junior High Schools will present Who's Who winners Thursday night, Feb.

13 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. The Simpson County native was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Feb. 16 at 3 p.m. with Rev.

Effie Lee Cockrell, 68, of Magee died Feb. 14 at the Magee General Hospital. The Simpson County native was a member of Shady Grove Church. Funeral services were conducted at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel Feb. 16 at 10 a.m.

with Rev. R.R. Newman, Rev. Larue Stevens and Rev. Sherman Blackwell officiating.

Burial was in Sharon Cemetery with Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Homer Cockrell of Magee; two sons, Bill Cockrell of Magee, Clyde Cockrell of Raleigh; two daughters, Doris Ferrell, Diane both of Laurel; three sisters, Lillie Kemp of Jackson, Lura Tanner of Magee, Kate McWilliams of Magee; and eleven grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Paul Cockrell, Junior Cockerell. Donald Wayne Allen, Herman James Cole and Thurman Cockrell. Mr.

Dewey Liddell Hutchison Mr. Dewey Liddell Hutchison, 84, of Mendenhall died Feb. 7 at the Simpson General Hospital. He was a native of Greenwood, a member of Braxton Methodist Church and a retired employee of Wilmut Gas Co. Funeral services were conducted at Braxton Methodist Church Feb.

9 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Whitlock and Rev. Harold Fleming officiating. Burial was in Saini Cemetery with Upton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nancy Hutchison of Mendenhall; one son, John M. (Billy) Harper of Tulsa, two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Ann Dallas, Mrs. Beatrice Mildred Scheverman of Memphis, five grandchildren, John K.

Preston Davis Cockrell, 79, of Star Route, Braxton died Feb. 9 at the Rankin General Hospital in Brandon. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Cockrell of Braxton; four sons, Hershall Cockrell of Marshall, Neal Cockrell of Pearl, Douglas Cockrell of Brandon, Dale Cockrell of Braxton; and six grandchildren. Mr. Homer Mangum, Sr. Mr.

Homer Mangum, 70, of Mendenhall died Feb. 11 at his residence. The Simpson County native was a member of Beulah Church. Funeral services were conducted at Upton Home Chapel in Mendenhall Monday, Feb. 14 with Rev.

Judene Purser and Rev. Tommy Walker officiating. Burial was in Mendenhall Cemetery with Upton Funeral Home of Mendenhall in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maxie Mangum of Mendenhall; four daughters, Mrs.

Mitchell Turnage of Puckett, Barbara McMillian of Mendenhall, Mrs. Billy Craft of Pearl, Mrs. Tim Tullos of Braxton; three sons, Homer Mangum, Jr. of Mendenhall, Wee Mangum of Jackson, Charlie Mangum of Magee; one sister, Mrs. Mady Thompson of Mendenhall; eleven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
