First of all I want to express my thanks and gratitude to my friends many good words said in my behalf and for the splendid vote you have heretofore given me. I come as no stranger to you as I have lived in District Two all my life and have been in practically every home in the District and I want to thank each one of you for the many courtesies shown me. My wife was Alma Maddox, daughter of C. J.

Maddox and we are the parents of six fine children. I am 54 years old and believe myself qualified. I realize the many responsibilities of this office and the important place your supervisor has in the affairs of your district and county. If you see fit to elect me to this office I will work hard to secure more Farm-To Market roads; operate your business as economical as possible so as to make the Tax-Dollar go further; working constantly for the best interest of all the district, for the betterment of our Churches, Schools, Homes and Businesses; constructing and maintaining the roads and bridges that serve them at less expense to you Tax-Payers. Everything that I do will be for the benefit and enjoyment of all the public and a better and safer place for our citizens and children to live.

I am a Mason, Baptist and presently serving as a trustee of Sharon School and have been for more than 20 years. I have had the experience necessary in many varied positions, in road and bridge work, to get the job done. If you see fit to elect me as your supervisor, to serve you for the next four years, I will work hard, stay cn the job, serving each and all to the best of my ability and conduct the business of the District and County in such a way that you will not ever have cause to regret having given me an opportunity to serve in this capacity. I will endeavor to contact each of you during the coming weeks of the campaign, but if I fail to see you do not hold it against me but give my qualifications and fitness a careful and prayerful consideration. Respectfully submitted, N.
