BONIFAS TO ADDRESS ALTAR SOCIETY HERE SUNDAY To Speak on "Lenten Cookery at Regular MeetingFilm Also Included on Program -Mecting to Follow Afternoon Devotions. Robert Bonifas, Proprietor of NuMaude's Restaurant, in speak on "Lenten Cookery lints," to the members of the Altar-Rosary Society of St. John's parish, Sunday, March 7. Members of the Society will receive holy communion in a body during the 8:30 o'clock Mass Sunday. Square Dance Class Set For Youth Center A Program of square dancing classes for Delphos teenagers is planned at the Youth Center here starting Wednesday, March 10, from 7 to 8 p. Watkins Funeral services were held at 2:00 p. m. Tuesday at the Alspuch funcral home, Van Wert, for V. Emmet Watkins, 70, accountant and former Van Wert city and county official, who died Saturday at his home in Van Wert. Burial was made in the Gomer cemetery, Mr.

Watkins was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Watkins. He was born March 23, 1883 at Leatherwood.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian church and held a 25-year service pin in the Masonic fraternity. Surviving are his widow, Annu; a step-son, A. L. Humphreys, Lima; a brother, John Watkins, Comer: one sister, Mrs. Sam Roberts, North Maple street; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

$50 Fine In Mayor's Court A Delphos man was fined while two motorists forfeited bonds in Mayor Howard E. Ditto's court here over the weekend. George Wagoner, North Jefferson street. was fined $50 and costs on il drunk and disorderly conduct charge in the Mayor's court Sunday. He was arrested by city police Saturday night.

Two drivers arrested by state highway police for excessive speed forfeited $15 bonds. They were Russell Leasure of Worthington, Ohio, and Emerson E. Moorman, of Spencerville. Many Tax Returns Yet To Be Filed There are several hundred personal tax returns yet to be fled by county taxpayers, Van Wert County Auditor Carlos Miller reported Friday. It is everyone's responsibility for filing returns by the March 31 deadline to save 10 per cent penalty, Auditor Miller pointed out.

The legal tax forms are available at the auditor's office at the courthouse. County Treasurer Walter E. Patman is accepting tax payments on personal property. First half payments must be paid by April 10 to avoid an added penally. Trinity MYF To Meet Wednesday The Senior Youth Fellowship of Trinity Methodist church here will meet in the church at 7 o'clock evening.

Mrs. Beryl Reed and Mrs. John V. DeWeese are counsellors. All youth of high school age are invited and urged to attend this session.

The return missionaries were guest speakers at one-day missionary institute held at Trinity Methodist Church here last slay.
