Greg ory Reuter Thursday morning at 9 o'clock for Casper Brost, 38, who died at 2:30 Christmas morning at St. Mary's Hospital, Milwaukee, from a short Illness which developed into pneumonia. The body was transported to Medford and will lie in. state at the Pflughoef and Hartwig Funeral Home. Casper Brostt son of Mrs.

Ther esa Brost. Medford, was born here Dec. 23. T905. He attended the Holy Rosary Catholic School and Medford High School.

He served in the United States Navy for two years when he was about 24 years old. and later worked for his brother, Henry, in the Brost garage. For the past three years he had-been employed in Milwaukee. Mr. Brost was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Eagles, the Foresters, and the Catholic Family Protective Asso ciation.

Mourning the sudden death of this young man are his mother. Mrs. Theresa Brost. two brothers, Henry and John, both of Medford, two sisters. Mrs.

Michael Hohl (Marie), of Milwaukee, and Mrs-. William Weil and (Katherine), San Fernando, Calif Expected here for the funeral are his sisters and a nephew In the Army, Pvt. Bernard Brost, Aberdeen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brost.

68, died Sunday night at her heme in the Town of from flu and complications, alter about three years of poor health. She win be buried in the Evergreen cemetery at Medford after services at the Pflughoef and Hart wig Funeral Home, conducted by the G. E. Pauloweit on Thursday afternoon at 2 Mrs. Nutting (Mae Smith) was bom in Calumet County May 26, 1875.

She was married to William Nutting in 1900 at Neillsville and the couple lived at Loyal until a-bout 20 years ago when they mov ed to Taylor County. She Is survived by her husband and one son, RudeU, of Medford, and 1 five grandchildren. One Naomi. (Mrs. Forest Asekm) preceded her in -death.

Ferguson. Methodist pastor from Colby, officiated at the rites, and burial was made in the Brighton cemetery. Pall bearers were Forrest Johnson and Clifford. Marvin, and Dale Carlson all grandsons, and Will ord Atcher-son and Joe Pech. Flowers were carried by Elaine Johnson and Mrs.

Forrest Johnson, two grand daughters, Attending the services from out of the town were Mrs. Edwin Johnson and daughter, Elaine, end son, Ronald. Chicago; Clifford and Marvin Carlson. and Mr. and Mrs.

Thomas, Milwaukee. Mr. Piper was born in Cascade, Sheboygan County, July 26. 1858, and in 1881 was married at Ply mouth to Miss Ida Beckwith. He grew to manhood on his father farm near Cascade and came to Unity in 1911.

The past 25 years were spent at Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gustave (Myrtle) Carlson, Unity, and Mrs. Edwin (Grace) Johnson. Chicago; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. W.

W. Clark, Spencer, end Mrs. B. J. Payne, Plymouth; and three brothers, Dan Piper, Plymouth; William Piper, Sheboygan; and Jce Piper, Michigan.

Preceding him in death were his wife, a son in infancy, a daughter, Mrs. Edward Flynn, end three brothers and a sister. Fred Heimendinger (By News-fierald Correspondent) Curttss Friends here received word last week of the death of Fred Heimendinger. formerly of Hoard, and the past several years a resident of Chicago. After leav ing here he and his wife, who sur vives.

lived for a number of years at Abbotsford. Mrs. Charles Schoenbeck (By News-Herald Correspondent) Curtiss Word cf the sudden death of Mrs. Charles Schoenbeck. 64, Eau Claire, has been received by friends here.

Mrs. Schoenbeck, the former Sarah Sorlin, was born and grew to womanhood in Hoard.
