Officers Recover Car JERSEYVILLE City, state, and county police officers cooperated in recovering a missing car in this locality, 'stolen from Martin Brown of Litchfield, 111., on June 16. The car was left at the country home of Henry Hildred of the Jerseyville vicinity. A youth, giving his name as John Abeln, left the car at Hildred's. Abeln was arrested here on charges arising out of thefts from two local filling stations. An information charging him with vagrancy was filed by State's Attorney Dolan in the county court, and on Abeln's plea of guilty, he was sentenced to six months at the Vandalia state farm.

Presence of the car was reported by Hildred to officials when the party leaving it at CARLINVILLE Funeral services for Albert Adory Watson, a former resident of Calhound county, will be conducted at the Presbyterian Church in Hardin at 2 p. m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Dixon cemetery near Hardin. The body is at the Heinz funeral home here.

Watson fell over a bicycle at Ihe home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Wiles, on West First South street. He died at 11:45 p. Sunday, three hours after the accident. He suffered head injuries.

He had resided with his daugher the past six years. The survivors are the daughter, two sons, William of St. Louis, and Melbourne, with the United States Army in the Pacific war area. for Rockbridge to spend the week wilh Mrs. George Shane.
