CIWiD and Charles H. Smith. The state introduced but four witnesses for the prosecution. The first was 1. J.

Duuar. brother of Mrs. Sayre the wile of the man who was killed. rK Mmony was about the same as that before the coroners jury. He told how the two men canto home together both under the influence of liquor and how the dispute a at the table which was followed by the shooting.

Dr. Stephen was next examined and he testified as to the cause of the death of Sayre which was brought about by two pistol shots. Sergeant Ozburn of the police force. who was among the first to arrive on the scene was put on the stand and told what he knew of the sad tragedy. ThenMrQuinn who was with the arresting party when Underwood was arrested was the lourthjwitnesg antI after he told his story the state closed.

Nothing new was developed in the evidence lortlie state. and it remains for the defense to introduce the sensational features. The case will be taken up again this morning and It is understood that the defense will introduce very few witnesses hut there may be some sensational developments The case will probably go to the jury today. and the question of life and liberty or death or imprisonment will be settled between the state and the man charged with murder. It is advisable to always keep Sanodine in the house as it is valuable for eruptions and skin diseases of both man and beset.
