June 8, in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Dubuque. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs.

Alvin A. Jaeger of Houston, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Dolezal of Carroll.

Lawrence K1 pastor of the church, officiated at the double ring wedding, with Mrs. Ray Roby as organ- Clyde Holsapple Clyde Holsapple Wins Honors at Commencement Clyde Holsapple, son of Mr. and Mrs. Van Holsapple of Newcastle, formerly of Carroll, has graduated June 5 In the upper two per cent of his class from Walter P.

Chrysler Memorial High School at Newcastle. He ranked seventh in a class of 400 seniors. The former Carroll High School student received a Certificate of Recognition from Purdue University, a scholar- shipN from the Indiana State Scholarship Commission and also became a member of the National Honor Society. He plans to attend Purdue tWs fall, with a tentative major in mathematics. According to information received by Carroll friends, Clyde has continued with 'his hobby of performing magic tricks and has given shows in and around Newcastle and also entertained at a state convention.

The Hols- apples moved from Carroll about a year ago and now live at 3642 Red River Road, Newcastle. Coon Rapids Plans Tribute to Kennedy COON RAPIDS The Coon Rapids community will have an ecumenical service in memory of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy at 8 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at First United Methodist Church in Coon Rapids, the Rev.

Marvin Mueller, pastor of Ascension Lutheran Church there and secretary of the Coon Rapids Ministerial Fellowship, said Friday. The Rev. Harold V. Cooper, pastor of Annunciation Catholic Church, will be the speaker. The Rev.

Mark Sullivan, minister of the Methodist Church, is also president of the Ministerial Fellowship. ist. White and apricot-colored gladioli and chrysanthemums were, featured in the floral setting. Guests were ushered by Steven Farner of Council Bluffs; John Dolezal, Denver and James B. Wilson of Carroll.

The bride's father escorted her to the altar and gave her in marriage. Her sister. Mrs. Bolton Archer Anthony of New Orleans, was her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were another sister, Clare Louise Jaeger of Houston: a cousin, Cynthia Wagner of Dubuque; and the bridegroom's sister, Ann Dolezal of Carroll.

Pvt. Thomas W. Dolezal of Fort Ord. Vernon Henkenius and Paul Collison of Carroll and Steven Macke. Lake City, attended the bridegroom.

For her early June wedding the bride chose a' gown of white linen. It featured a cowl neckline of Venise lace which also bordered the gown. A cascade of the same lace highlighted her court train which extended to chapel-length. Bouffant silk illusion, caught to a matching miniature pillbox, fell to shoulder-length to compliment her gown. The dresses worn by the bride's attendants were apricot- colored with a textured silk look featuring modified scoop necklines and short bell sleeves.

Accenting the princess lines of each dress was a bias band and bow; and the back flowing panel falling from a shaped yoke also had tailored bow trim. Completing their ensembles were simple apricot double bow headpieces. Two hundred relatives and friends were entertained it a twelve o'clock buffet rece on at the Holiday Inn, Dubuque. The former Miss Jaeger is a graduate of Clarke College, Dubuque, and teaches at Kuemper High School in Carroll. Mr.

Dolezal, a graduate of Notre Dame University, is with the Dolezal Insurance Agency here. The couple will be at home after June 20 at 1417 Harriet Avenue, Carroll. They are taking a week's wedding trip to Colorado Springs, Colo. Pat Heithoff Complimented A miscellaneous shower honoring Pat Heithoff was given this week in the Roy Wolterman home by her aunts, Mrs. Wolterman, Mrs.

Andrew Wittry and Mrs. Lawrence Vonnahme. Her marriage to Ronald Wolterman' will take place June 22. The group of 21 played court whist, with Joan Osterholt, Mrs. Paul Wieland and Anna Wolterman winning prizes.

The hostesses presented Miss Heithoff with a corsage fashioned of a spoon in her pattern of silver with yellow ribbon and net trim. Shower decorations aJso featured yellow, the bride- elect's chosen color. Dessert and coffee were served. BIRTHDAY NOTED Supper guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Mrs. Kastle had made a lamb-shaped birthday cake for her niece. Ruth Ann Beymer, Michael Bock Wed TEMPLETON Ruth Ann Beymer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Beymer of Indianola, became the bride of Michael James Bock, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Lawrence J. Bock of Templeton, on Saturday, June 8. The ceremony took place at one o'clock in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at Indianola and was followed by a reception in the curch basement.

Rev. Kenneth Seifried performed the double ring rite and celebrated the nuptial mass before an altar decorated with carnations in the bride's chosen color, pink. Mrs. John Pray was organist; Joanna Pray, the vocal soloist. Hit bride, given in marriage by her father, appeared in an A-line gown of peau de soie with an overdress of silk organza.

The bodice, sleeves and train were fashioned of Chantilly lace, and a headpiece of the same lace held her shoulder-length veil. of honor was the bride's sister, Mrs. Lee Corbin, who wore a sleeveless cage dress of pink whipped cream fabric styled with an inverted pleat in back. Identically styled dresses of pink print whipped cream were worn by the two bridesmaids, Cheri Droll and Kathy Piffer. Attending the bridegroom were his brothers, Larry and John Bock, and Donald Miller.

Ushers were Robert Beymer, the bride's brother, and David Dirksen. The bride, a senior at the University of Northern Iowa, graduated from Indianola High School. Mr. Bock graduated from Kuemper High School and the University of Northern Iowa, where his fraternity was Phi Sigma Epsilon. He has a position at Columbus High School, Waterloo.

The couple will be at home 427 South Court, University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, after June 10, at which time they will begin summer school. Mrs. Frederick J. and Mrs. Dave Rettenmaier and Mrs. Jim Fay. Dr. and Mrs.

Guy Jones spent Friday and Saturday at Ames attending the 50-year reunion of Dr. Jones' class at Iowa Stale University. Spending Thursday night with the Joneses were Dr. and Mrs. Hugh Fitch of Missouri Valley, who also went to Ames Friday.

The men were classmates at Iowa State. Mr. and Mrs. Earle Layton and family of Glen Ellyn, 111., arrived Thursday night to visit in the home of Mrs. Layton's parents, Mr.

and Mrs. R. D. McCord, coming here from Rawlins and Laramie, Wyo. Their son, Lee, and daughter, Diana, left Saturday morning for Glen Ellyn and Mr.

and Mrs. Layton, Georgia and Susan remained for a week's visit. Mr. and Mrs. W.

F. McMlni- mee were in Iowa City Friday to attend commencement exercises at the University of Iowa. Mr. McMinimee's son Gary graduated with distinction, receiving a B. S.

degree in chemical engineering. Susan Wille Marries Michael D. Payson St. Lawrence Church in Carroll was the setting for the wedding of Susan Elizabeth Wille, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Elmer J. Wille of Carroll, and Michael David Payson, son Templeton's CDA Officers Are Installed TEMPLETON Mrs. Elmer Schreck, grand regent, and other new officers of Court Sacred Heart No. 454, Catholic Daughters of America, were installed at the court's regular meeting here Thursday night in Sacred Heart parish hall. Mrs.

Matt Hugeback of Carroll, district deputy, was assisted by Mrs. Norbert Hulsing of Carroll In installing the slate. Mrs. Leo i retiring grand regent who conducted the meeting, was presented with an honorary pin by the district deputy for having served in her office for three years. Mrs.

Wiskus reported on the CDA state convention which she and Mrs. Schreck had attended in Cedar Rapids May 17. The Rt. Rev. Msgr.

The ceremony took place at noon, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Henry B. Karhoff officiating.

Cecilia Eltgroth was organist for the double ring wedding, accompanying a choir composed of the Senior Volunteer Group of St. Lawrence parish. Jake Brinkmaii and Barry Bruner were servers. Flanking the main altar were gold vases of pink carnations, the bride's chosen colors being pink and white. After mass the bride placed a single pink Sensation rose on the Blessed Virgin's altar.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was Robyn Neary. Bridesmaids were Nancy enthaler, Anita Meehan and sisters of the couple, Patricia Payson and Lynne Wille. Michael Chandler of Camanche was best man. Groomsmen were the bride's brother, Scott Wille, Jon Buchholz, David Moranville of Glidden and Lynn Allen of Morning Sun. Guests were seated by Jim Wille, brother of the bride, and Rick Bruhn of Comanche, the bridegroom's cousin.

Mr. Wille gave his daughter in marriage. Her white gown of silk organza was styled with a high neckline and short sleeves. The daisy-patterned Venice lace yoke and sleeves held a fitted A-line underdress with an organza cage that swept to an aisle-wide train in back. Daisies were appliqued down the front of the dress and outlined the entire hem.

The bride's triple veil of illusion was held by a face- framing headpiece of daisies and tulle with pearl trim. She carried an ethereal cascade of stephanotis and baby's breath, with green leaves edging the bouquet. Miss Neary and the bridesmaids wore pastel pink linen dresses fashioned with oval shaped collars and short sleeves. The simple A-line frocks were trimmed with panels of daisies, the back panels being caught to the back necklines. Completing their ensembles were daisy headpieces finished with triple a 1 i veils.

They carried Amazon lilies with strands of ivy as single stemmed flowers. Two hundred guests were en tertained at a luncheon at the Elk's Club after the ceremony. The new Mrs. Payson graduated in 1965 from Kuemper High School and has attended Mount Mercy College, Cedar Rapids, and the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls. Her husband graduated from Camanche High School in 1962 and from the University of Northern Iowa.

He has been teaching special education at Harlan High School, and will enter Army Officer's Candidate School. Mrs. Payson will remain at her parents' home and continue her employment at The Carroll Daily Times Herald. The bride and groom are taking a week's trip to northern states. Karen Reiff Weds Robert G.

Schouten Karen Ann Reiff, daughter of Mrs. Susan Reiff of Route 2, Carroll, is the June 8 bride of Robert Glenn Schouten, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J.

Schouten of Sioux City. The wedding took place at eleven o'clock in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Mt. Carmel, with the Rev. Dale Koster officiating.

The bride's chosen colors of yellow and white were displayed in a huge altar arrangement of white gladioli and yellow pompon chrysanthemums, bowed with green satin. The same flowers in a fan- shaped design flanked the Blessed Virgin's altar. Raymond Reiff, brother of the bride, gave her in marriage. Maid of honor was Susan Ann Reiff; the bridesmaids, Beth Klein and Helen Gokie. Don Schouten was best man.

Other men in the wedding party were Bill Schouten and Dennis Donahue, groomsmen; Dan Reiff and Tom Reiff, ushers. The bride's long-sleeved gown of white organza over faille was edged with beaded Venice lace. Appliqued down the front of the A-line dress was a large pattern of daisy and leaf patterned lace, each flower being embroidered with crystals and pearls. An aisle-wide train was attached to the back of the oval neckline. Completing her attire was a forward headpiece of matching lace and tulle with crystal trim, from which fell a triple veil of illusion.

Her cascade bouquetof white roses and ivy foliage featured a center of miniature yellow roses in sunburst effect. Sheath gowns of yellow chiffon over taffeta were worn by the bride's attendants, who carried colorful medley cascade bouquets of yellow pompon chrysanthemums and green star flowers combined with geranium leaves. The dresses were designed with tiny capped sleeves and high necklines outlined in white Venice lace and yellow rosettes. Adding back interest were floating panels of satin peau, held at the shoulders with matching bows. White pearl tiaras held dyed-to- match bustle veils.

At 12:30, 140 guests were entertained at a i at the Derby Restaurant in Carroll, where a reception for 250 was held from two until four o'clock. Mrs. Schouten holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Briar Cliff College, Sioux City, and will teach at Adams School in Des Moines this fall. Her husband is a senior at Iowa State University, Ames, majoring in physics. The couple will take a week's wedding trip and for the summer only will live at 3601 Fifth Avenue, Sioux City, 1 Paige Paige Photo Live in Carroll Mr.

and Mrs. Ernest Wegman are making their home at 1400 Simon Avenue, Carroll, following their May 25 wedding and a western trip. Mrs. Wegman is the former Mrs. Bonnie Sharp of Carroll.

The nuptial ceremony took place here in St. Joseph Church. Both Mr. and Mrs. Wegman are employed in Carroll.

Beverly Harding, Dennis Murr Wed The marriage of Beverly J. Harding of Carroll and Dennis L. Murr of Hibbing, was solemnized Saturday, June In Oskaloosa where the i e's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald H.

Lathrop, reside. Mr. Murr is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Murr of Wausau, Wis.

The Rev. Charles D. Mannhardt officiated at the double ring ceremony which took place at noon in St. Mary's Church. Light blue and white gladioli and carnations were featured in the floral arrangements on the altar.

Prof. John Winter was organist; Mrs. Bruce Hanna the vocal soloist. Immediately following the wedding a reception for 150 guests was held in the church basement. The brldt, given in marriage by her father, wore a white gown of nosegay lace and sheer material, styled with an empire bodice and A-line skirt.

The lace 1 bodice had a scoop neckline and long tapered sleeves, and a medallion of lace and iridescents highlighted the front of the floor-length skirt. Caught to the shoulders with tailored bows was a detachable cathedral train. The bride's triple veil of illusion was held by a forward headpiece of organza swirls, pearl edging and a cluster of mock orange blossoms. Stouten in a two o'clock ceremony Saturday afternoon, June 8, in the First Presbyterian Church in Carroll. Parents of the bride and groom are Louis E. Plotz and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Stouten, all of Carroll.

The double ring service was read by the Rev. Allan M. Peterson, pastor of the church, before an altar adorned with two bouquets of white and pink gladioli. Mr. Plotz gave his daughter in marriage.

Nuptial music was played by Linda Mount, organist, who also accompanied the vocal soloist, Gary Rutten. Cathryn K. Stouten and Debbie Ann Kuhl were the bride's attendants. Attending the bride- Schroeders Had Guest from Phoenix (Times Herald News Service) WALL LAKE Paul Ganz of Phoenix, spent Saturday and Sunday in the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Gus Schroeder. Afternoon visitors Sunday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stock were Mrs. Gene Lytten and Elizabeth of Sioux City and Oscar Weitzel of Twilight Acres.

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Johnson called on Faye Morrow Wednesday at a Fort Dodge hospital. Mrs. Max Squires, Scott and Ann of Glidden and Mr.

and Mrs. David Boggs of Eugene, spent Memorial Day with Mrs. Bernice Beck. Additional lunch guests were Mr. and Mrs.

Grant Stimson of Walnut, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Stimson, Mark and Rick. Mr. and Mrs.

Boggs spent that evening in the home of Mrs. Veda Mack. were James Anderson and Ben Rogers. Fred Stouten served as ushers. The bride's floor-length gown of Chantilly lace sparkled with iridescents.

Self-scalloped lace trimmed the elbow-length bell sleeves of the empire bodice and also the hemline of the Aline skirt. Her veil train of illusion, sprinkled wife lace-edged medallions, was caught to a forward headpiece of satin flowers and leaves. She carried a cascading bouquet fashioned of pink roses and stephanotis. Her chosen colors were hot pink and white. Full-length empire dresses with bell skirts were worn by Miss Stouten and Miss Kuhl.

The hot pink frocks of chiffon over taffeta were styled with bell-shaped elbow sleeves trimmed with wide bands of white lace. Taffeta belts and bows set off the empire bodices. Each carried a colonial bouquet of small white pompon chrysanthemums centered with larger pompons in the bride's shade of pink. One hundred guests attended a reception held at the Farm Bureau building from 2:30 until 4:30. Both Mr.

and Mrs. Stouten are graduates of Carroll High School. The bride has been employed at St. Anthony Hospital. Mr.

Stouten works for Matt Furniture Company. The bride and groom will take a two-week trip to California and the Ozarks. After June 24 they will reside at 327 South Maple Street, Carroll. Two Birthdays Noted at Omaha (Tltimn Herald Service) AUBURN Mr. and Mrs.

Reo Miles, in company with Mr. and Mrs. Luvern Olberding, Mr. and Mrs. Merle 01- berding, Cindy and Steve and Randy Grossman, Carroll, Mr.

and Mrs. Ronald Marconcini and daughters and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Nichols and family, Omaha, were guests at a surprise birthday dinner Sunday in the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Melvin Olberdiing in Omaha for the birthdays of Melvin Olberding and Mrs. Marconcini. Connie Barton, who attends the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, is spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.

L. Barto and family before returning there June 10 to attend summer session. Mr. and Mrs. C.

M. Bean were Thursday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Bean and family at Council Bluffs. Mr.

and Mrs. Marion Fleming, Des Moines, were Thursday visitors of Mrs. Grace Barto. ohids to form her cascade bouquet. Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Mrs.

James Dick of Las Vegas, Nev. Mrs. Wayne Camilli of Bryan. Ohio, and Rita Wiederin of Carroll were her other attendants and her sister, Patricia Lathrop, was flower girl. They were attired in dresses of powder blue sheer dacron with circle velveray detail.

Empire bodices, designed with wide-set mandarin necklines and short sleeves, held long, A-line skirts. Lace daisies trimmed the empire lines. Their forward headpieces of fabric petals held circular maline veils. Each carried colonial bouquet of daisies. Jon Hoffmann of LaCresse, was best man for his cousin.

Groomsmen were Mr. Camilli and Wayne Richter of Milwaukee, Wis. Ushers were Kenneth Severson and David Dingeman, both of Silver Bay, and Michael Lathrop of Oakaloosa. Ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Donald Saddoris Jr. The bride has been employed in Carroll by the Carroll County Department of Social Services.

She is a 1964 alumna of Morningside College, where her sorority was Delta Zeta. Mr. Murr graduated from Michigan Technological University at Houghton in 1965 and is with Hanna Mining Company, agents for National Steel Pellet Plant, Keewatin, Minn. Mr. and Mrs.

The bride appeared in a floor- length empire gown of silk organza extending into a large, chapel-length Watteau train. The front of the bodice and train were trimmed with large Venice daisy lace medallions.

Her three4iered veil of silk illusion fell to ballerina-length from a headpiece fashioned of large Alencon lace daisies with centers and stems of aurora borealis stones and long, satin ribbons. For her bridal bouquet she carried a cascade of white roses and blue daisies. The sky blue empire frocks worn by the bride's attendants were trimmed with daisies and floor-length sashes. Their headpieces were clusters of pompons in the bride's colors. Each carried a cascade bouquet of Garcia pompons, also blue and white.
