Michael was born in Wellsville, Ohio, on September 13, 1943. He graduated from Wellsville High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corps 1961-1966 with an Honorable Discharge, and graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Master's Degree in Secondary Administration.

Michael taught and coached basketball at various schools in the Akron and Cleveland area. He also coached for John Cistone at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio, and retired as a Vice Principal from the Cleveland Public School System. He was preceded in death by his father, John D.

Mouse mother, Ka-therine (Thomas) Mouse; brother, Daniel Mouse; brother-in-law, Chester Pasquale; sister-in-law, Geraldine Pasquale; and nephew, Frederick (Margaret) Pasquale. Michael is survived by his wife of 53 years the only love of his life, Rosemary Mouse; daughter, Christina Pease; son-in-law, Donald Pease and granddaughter, Brittany Pease, who was one of his greatest joys. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law (who were like brothers), Benjamin (Minoo) Pasquale, Ralph (Faye) Pasquale, Victor Pasquale, Michael Pasquale, and John (Alanna) Pasquale; and numerous nieces and nephews. Michael served on Canal Fulton City Council and the City Planning Commission. He was a sports and music enthusiast, who loved reading, working in his yard, and spending time with family, friends, and rescued pets.

He was a member of the North Lawrence Fish and Game Club. Michael was a man of integrity who spent his life in service of community, family, friends, students, teachers, and athletes, and will be deeply and forever missed by those he knew. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Akron General Justin T. He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed watching the Browns, Indians, Cavs, and NASCAR.

Woody was preceded in death by father, Samuel May and mother, Louise Whitney. He is survived by wife of 22 years, Robin; children, Samuel Royston, and Sarah May; his mom, Odessa May; many sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. He always had a special place in his heart for Fred, Liz and Freddie Pall, and many friends. Per his wishes, cremation has already taken place. Newcomer 330-784-3334 Gary McCord Gary Wayne McCord departed for his new life on January 11, 2017 in Akron, Ohio after a long, courageous battle with dementia. He was born on November 29, 1956 in Salem, Ohio to Carl and Lois McCord. Gary grew up in Lisbon, Ohio and attended Kent State University and Ohio State University, obtaining a master's degree in psychology. He had 28 years years service at NEOMED as an associate professor in the Research and Family Medicine Department until his retirement in 2011.

Gary was also gifted musician and song writer, playing guitar in Revelstone. Gary was also an avid fan of baseball and basket-ball and was a tireless Continued next column advocate for the care and well-being of animals. Gary leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, sidekick, and best friend of 21 years, Caine Alexander-McCord; who wishes to extend great love and thanks to the exemplary nursing staff of the Arbors of Stow; particularly Jeannie, Justine, Susan, Heidi, and Katie; and also to the Coven of the Tranquil Moon and Chaplain Jolene Wolfenbarger-Dixon for deep, abiding love and invaluable support during this devastating time of loss. Moler (nee Boston) Deborah K. Moler, age 64, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2017 and has returned to her Heavenly Father. Debbie was born in Akron on February 12, 1952 to Selby Clair and Dorothy Boston, she was raised in the area before moving to Rexburg, Idaho and Columbus, Ohio. Debbie was very proud of obtaining her master's degree in counseling as well as being a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was employed as a social worker in Idaho.

Debbie was raised Catholic and later became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed sewing and doing crafts. Throughout Debbie's life she had made many friendships and loved spending time with her friends and family, and especially loved reminiscing at family gatherings. Preceded in death by her beloved son, Benjamin; her parents; former husband, Glenn R. Moler; brother, Dan; and granddaughter, Dorothy Jane; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Deana Platz; grandson, Matthew; brother, Michael (Lois) Boston; sister, Mary (Roger) Errington; and former husband and friend, Frank Platz; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 with Brother Jon Lee officiating. She was born in Ashtabula to the late Harry and Lena (Burt) Morton, was raised in the greater Cleveland area, spent a number of years in Florida, and lived the past five years in the Akron area. Rose attended the Euclidian Beauty College, leading to her working as a beautician, and also for Lintons Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her son, Bradley; granddaughter, Holly; and husband, Emmett. She is survived by her loving Mother, Beverly and Father, Larry (Amy); Grandparents, Larry and Donna Johnston and Pam Inch; Very Special Aunt, Becky Newsome (Michelle); Uncles, Jerry Inch, Scott (Darcy) Johnston, Dustin Johnston, and Brian Newsome. She also leaves her Jennifer (Cody) Wolfe and Kaitlyn Johnston, as well as Derek and Mason, whom Krystle called her and her companion, Zaylee. Krystle's smile lit up a room and her spirit will forever be in our hearts. She touched everyone she met. Her love spanned two states, two school systems, and many other lives forever.

Newcomer 330-784-3334 Donald Knee Donald W. Knee, 76, received his wings Sunday, January 8, 2017 on the Epiphany of the Lord. He suffered Pulmonary Fibrosis over ten years. Donald was born September 19, 1940 in Altoo-na, Pa. to the late Lyola and Jim Knee.

He was employed by Goodyear Aerospace for over 40 years and was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Don was preceded in death by his infant son, Gerard Michael and son-in-law Haydn Thomas. He is survived by his wife Pauline; daughters, Coleen (Steve) Graham, Sherry Pappas, Susan Seibel and Donna Thomas; brother, Jim (Rose) Knee; sister, Faye Brown; 17 grandchildren including Kristopher who was like the son he never had; and 19 greatgrandchildren. The family is grateful to Harbor Light Hospice, they were wonderful to Don and Pauline.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Francis de Sales and interment took place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Koenig, 85, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, January 11, 2017. A life long resident of the area, Delores was a homemaker who loved her family and her pets. Continued next column Katylynn's first and forever Love, Jesus, brought her to her eternal home on January 1 1 2017; she passed peacefully in her sleep. Katylynn's unconditional love and joy despite suffering allowed so many to see and experience our God's immense and also unconditional love. God blessed our family when Katylynn joined us to become a Patton on May 26, 2010.

In the time that she was loaned to us, we enjoyed together camping trips, countless road trips, sing-a-longs, hours at the orchestra concerts, adapted skiing, challenger baseball and any get-togethers with family and friends. Her memories survive with her mother, Kate Patton; sister, Shataeya Patton; grandparents, John and Eileen Patton; great-grandmother, Jane O'Connor; Aunts, Helen and Ruth Patton; Uncles, Matthew (Holly), Michael (Toni), David (Michelle), Joseph (Katie); cousins, Moira, Eli, Colleen, Bridget, Seamus, Kieren, Rory, Maeve, Mya, Gabri-ella, Elaina, and Penelope; a huge extended family; close friend, Kalian Kosmach and so many other friends that brought richness to her life. Robert was born in Detroit, on February 28, 1928 to Nor-bert and Frances. He graduated from Lawrence Technological University, ESIE and The University of Detroit, MBA.

Robert's career of 31 years was spent in Marketing and Quality with BFGoodrich. Upon retirement in 1993 he served as a Substitute Teacher and worked in Customer Service in several banks. He enjoyed volunteering at Hospice and The Mayo Clinic. He is survived by his wife, Jill of 31 years; his Continued next column F3 Deborah Leone Hudkins Deborah Leone Hudkins passed away December 18th 2016 after a sudden illness. Debbie was 59.

Debbie was preceded in death by father, William D. Hudkins, 2004; mother, Betty Hudkins (Cook), 2012; brothers, Charles M. Hudkins, 2015 and Morgan Hudkins, 2015. Debbie is survived by brothers, Billy (Nicki) Hudkins of Florida and Larry Hudkins of Cuyahoga Falls. Debbie, a proud 1977 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, will be remembered for her welcoming smile, exuberance and loving heart.

Debbie loved puzzles, horse racing, OSU Buckeyes, Indians and yes, the Browns, but most of all Deb loved her 'boys' GT and Gruffer. Deb will be missed by all who knew her. Graveside service on Wednesday, January 18th at 2 p.m. at Rose Hill Burial Park, 3653 W. Market Fairlawn, Ohio.

Catavolosi lone Joan E. Jerome Joan E. Jerome, 81, and life-long resident of Hudson, passed away on Friday, January 6th, at Hudson Elms. Surviving are Joan's long-time best friend, John (Bud) Morse III; brother, John Jerome (Donna); nephews, John Jr. and Chris; sister, Diane Smith (Irv); nephew, Billy Fisher and beloved niece, Kristine Fisher; and cousin, Janet Noall.

Also surviving are many good and faithful friends who were always there for Joan over the years. At Joan's request there will be no service.
