Mrs. Estes' daughter, Mrs. Raymond Eskew and husband are stopping with them for the present. At the Hooper ranch east of Coolidge the reunion of members of the family separated for several years is expected this -week when a brother, Rev. J.

L. Hooper arrives from Manilla where he is stationed as secretary-treasurer i tor to Phoenix and Casa Grande end: Mr. and Mrs. R. J.

Karls, and family, Miss Emile Villabergi, and Miss Verna Karls all from Phoenix. Mrs. Sidney Price, Mrs. E. O.

Peterson, Wayne Miller, and Miss Madeline Spelce were visitors to Yuma Monday. Mr. and Mrs. J. V.

Carpenter of Agua Caliente Springs were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cole Gatlin several days of last week. Mrs. Anna McCluskey, Mrs.

Addie McCluckey and son Gene, were visitors to Los Angeles several days of last week. Jake Miller spent several days of last week in Ajo on business. Fletcher Harrison was a visi- of the Presbyterian Mission. Rev. Hooper served one eight-year period in this field and has been gone six years this time.

He is now on a one-year furlough and will spend most of this time in Los Angeles where his wife and children make their home. What might have been a very serious accident, and was, so far as the cars were concerned occurred Sunday evening when a big car belonging to Mrs. Nelson Boree of Florence collided with a Ford touring car driven by Pedro Ross, Mexican; at the intersection of the two highways in West Coolidge. The father of Ross, riding in the back seat had his shoulder dislocated. None of the four occupants of the Borree car hurt.
