Sgt Dan Ziegler reported that a 2008 Dodge Charger driven by Jobe was north bound on Indiana 25 The semi driven by Kenneth Pass 59 of Goshen was southbound on Indiana 25 The Charger pulled out to pass another semi go ing northbound and hit the southbound semi head on The semi ended up in a soybean field on the west side of the road and the Charger ended up in the Jobe was pronounced dead at the scene from trauma to the police reported Jobe was wearing a seat belt and airbags deployed Pass was transported by ambulance to Logansport Memorial Hospital with minor injuries Traffic was halted about two hours Police are con tinuing their investigation Police said the road was dry but there was a light fog STORM EE ROM PAGE Bl Even though the new fee would be charged on a monthly basis property owners will see a bill only twice a year said Jenny Miller Lafayette city engi neer Miller said since bills will be sent to property owners and not all proper ties have water and sewer service the city put it on the existing utility bill it sends to residents would have to pay postage for 28000 plus customers for a $5 a month Miller said postage and billing be comes cost Miller said a measure to establish the fee could be brought before the city council at the September meeting David Henderson West wastewater treatment utility director said the city will roll out its stormjvater utility fee about the same time as Lafayette does completed our cost of service snapshot and (that information) is being passed along to our financial Hen derson said start looking at it and develop what the fee structure might look How much would you pay?
